*Genuinely starts tweaking*

Well-

Hello.

IT HAS BEEN LIKE 4 YEARS since I updated this!?!?!?!? I forgot I had Wattpad accounts?

I mostly moved to Quotev (https://www.quotev.com/SaylahSorrenson if ur interested, which probs not because there's no HTTYD stuff in there)

A MINI chapter for y'all who have been waiting for YEARS:

(P.s it's been so long that I forgot the storyline, so bear with me.)

(Sorry about the point of veiw i write from, as I've improved my writing, I've realised it find it easier to write like this. If it's too hard to read, just tell me and I'll be able to change it in like 3 minutes)

3rd person POV

His.

This was his, Hiccup finally realises. Toothless, Astrid, the island. It belonged to him, something was finally for him.

Never had he had something for himself before. On Berk, everything that was to be had belonged to his father, the elders, or anyone stronger than him. Which was everyone. But here, there was no chief, no council, nobody to stop him from having what he wanted, what he needed.

As he holds Astrid in his arms, his chin hovering above her hair, he sighs, looking out onto the water of the lagoon. A lagoon, that when he thought about it, was much like the lagoon he met Toothless in.

He had been so scared that first time. Coming face to face with the offspring of Lighting and Death itself. Yet he had followed it, befriended it, out of some desire for companionship. He was no longer scared, of anybody for that matter. He had come back to Berk, met his people again, and left.

Not one moment had he felt scared when he was back in his birthplace. Even when he saw the people who taunted him, the father who abandoned him, the place which ridiculed him. Because he had nothing to be scared of.

One who has something of their own tend to be less scared. Hiccup thinks to himself. He liked not being afraid, or worried. It was a nice feeling, pleasant and warm in his chest.

"What are you thinking about?" Astrid asks softly, gazing out onto the moon's reflection dancing on the water.

"Nothing much." Hiccup replies, looking down at her. He smiles, looking down at her. He can't believe how lucky his is as he gazes at her blonde hair, illuminated by the moonlight. All for him.

His.
