"Remember when Yoongi wore an orange colored wig for Jimin just because he was feeling uncomfortable with his new hair color?" Baekhyun laughed out loud. "That's actually a relationship goal."

"Yeah," Taehyung said, absent minded as his eyes roamed around the hall where everyone was getting ready for performance. He did not feel like doing anything and he was one step away from stepping back but if he did that, everyone would be pissed.

He did not want to break their trust. Trust? He almost laughed at the word because damn he broke someone's trust in the worst way possible but it was for her own sake.

"Woah! You're lucky buddy," Lucas said, loudly. "I mean, I've been trying on her since she broke up with Jackson but nothing happened."

Taehyung's head snapped up as he watched two of his classmates chatting a few steps away from him. Were they talking about Joy? he wondered as the name 'Jackson' rang the bell in his mind.

"I didn't know if she would say yes." Jaehyun smiled. "But, I'm glad she gave me a chance," he said. "And now you stay away from Joy. Got it?" he pointed at Lucas, who surrendered his arms up.

"Crystal clear," the other guy replied. "I saw that Jackson guy around her recently. He thinks she likes Jungkook but it turns out she likes you," he said while Taehyung sat there in shock.

It hadn't been a total 24 hours and she already had moved on? Was he meant that little to her? He clenched his hands in fist and jumped when he felt someone's hand on his shoulder.

"Tae? You fine?" Baekhyun's worried face greeted him and he nodded, his mind going over different scenarios that could happen on their date.

"I'm good," he gritted out as he was fuming internally and stood up. "Come on it's time to Burn The Stage." He glanced at Baekhyun who grinned, nodding his head.

Taehyung knew his friend had prepared a list of questions for him but ignored that for a while. Baekhyun could ask all he wanted after Taehyung gave a very important message to someone on stage. His eyes bore into Jaehyun's, who was confused with the sudden hostility from him. He gave him a fake smile and then looked away. "Okay let's go," he announced.

Adrenalin rush made everything feel more exciting and Taehyung's glaring eyes scanned the area carefully, waiting to spot a familiar face and when he did, his heart clenched in pain.
