"Hello mother."

Joy kneeled down in front of a tombstone and wiped some dry leaves with her fingers as she fluttered her eyes to the name written on it.

Park Seung

A daughter. A wife. A mother.

"I miss you mom," she whispered under her breath and closed her eyes as a gust of wind passed by her side, caressing her cheek. "I know you miss me too" she lowered her head as tears fell down her cheeks.

She was 10 years old when it happened, she still cursed that night which took her mother away from her. Her mother was there to pick her up from Yeri's house and after giving in to her demand of having an ice-cream before going home, her mother drove the car to the ice-cream parlor.

Unfortunately, the road to there had a bridge in the way. Joy's mother was constantly asking her to put on the seat belt but she was being stubborn. She still remembered the horror sight of that night when another car rammed into theirs and pushed it off the bridge but before it could fall down her mother pushed her out of the car.

Park Seung died in that accident while Joy had to stay in the hospital for weeks. She lost her mother because of a drunk driving case.

Turned out it was Seokjin's father's car and he had done it intentionally. Some said Mr Kim had feelings for her mother, and because of jealousy he tried to kill Seung but some disagreed with it, saying if that was the case he would have done it way before when Seung married someone else.

Nonetheless, an inquiry started but since Taehyung's father had connections with upper officers and everything, he somehow saved his brother, Seokjin's father, which sparked the rivalry between two families. Because of this, Joy's grandfather took matters into his own hands and killed Seokjin's father in cold blood. Everyone knew he had done it, but no one had evidences because of which the murder case became a mystery.

Two families never talked with each other after that, and what happened between them became a mystery for townies but they knew, Joy, Taehyung, Chanyeol, Seokjin and Sehun knew and were asked to stay away from each other.

"Omma Mianhe," Joy whimpered. "I'm sorry I'm feeling something towards him but I promise I'm not doing it," she hiccuped as her body shook with tears burning her eyes.
