Day 18: Downhill

''You are telling me-'' Taehyung closes his eyes at the moment to gather some will to continue. He breathes in and out before continuing. "You are telling me he's selling the club and running away. From us." He finishes, repeating the words of Mr Ji.

"I'm not running away-"

"You're not?" Taehyung's deep voice almost roared at Jimin. He dared to look at Jimin with such disgust for his own self as his tears were almost pricking his eyes painfully, while heart tightening.

You gulp, not liking the situation and the curtain of tension that has been lifted around the atmosphere. Taehyung chuckles almost mockingly, "Wow, Park Jimin. Wow."

"You're not listening to me, Taehyung." Jimin speaks up, facing his brother.

"I'm not listening? Did you try to make me listen? Oh for fucks sake, the person who I thought of as my fucking brother, no... I didn't think, you WERE my brother. We are a family. Yet, you decided to not tell me or mum before trying to run away FROM US!" Taehyung's voice turns into a shout at the end, making your heart jump in sudden found fear.

"You even sold your club? For what?! To pay mum for raising you?! Are kidding me?" Taehyung no longer tries to stay calm, rather letting all the words to run free.

"It's not what you think it is! I just thought I should pay for how grateful I feel-"

"Are we even your fucking family?!" Taehyung now breathes vigorously out of anger. Luna jumps into the conversation to hold Taehyung down before he even tried to attack Jimin. By the change of the body language, you feared if they are going to get physical. "Did you EVER think of us as your family? Because last time I checked, family don't pay each other. You're trying to pay out mum's love for you? How freaking low can you get?!"

"Can you fucking listen to me?!" Jimin yells at last, losing his own temper. Your nerve hits featingly as chills run down your spine. You witness both male shaking out of pure rage while no one is ready to listen to the other one. "It's not that deep Taehyung! It's not like I'm your actual brother!" Jimin spits out words that chilled the entire hall. You physically felt Taehyung's heart breaking into pieces.

"Don't try to act like you are my own my blood now, when all of us know I'm not your real brother."

You didn't know if it was out of anger or the extreme pain he was feeling, Taehyung's gave up at last as you see a tear gathering in his eyes, waiting to fall down his cheeks. His hands were shaking around Luna's grip whereas, jaw clenching as he tried his best not to break down.

"Tae..." Luna softly speaks. "Look at me, Tae...it's okay. Let's go from here." Luna shakingly speaks. You stood there, paralysed. Not knowing what to do or even how to feel.

"Luna..." As the tear drops from Taehyung's eyes, he looks down. Luna looks at Jimin with a pleading eyes to say something to make this situation better. However, Jimin broken-heartedly looks away.

With a puff of breath, Luna takes Taehyung's hand and drags him out of the hall.

As if the freeze frame as been unpaused, your eyes snap to the reality when you see Luna and Taehyung stop one last time to look back and Taehyung speaks, "If you even come near my mum with that money, I will seriously forget you even had a relationship with me to begin with. For all I know, fuck off and stay away from us." With that, he takes the leave.
