2312 CHAPTER 002

All life is an experiment. The more
experiments you make, the better.

- John F. Kennedy

__________

5th, August

Four days since the diagnosis have happened and passed. The first day where Win cried and wailed like a baby. The second day was when he started browsing the family album he has and calling all of his relatives just to ask about their day. The third day, the boy just locked himself inside of his bedroom and just laid on his bed with his legs curled in an infant like position, thinking about anything and everything. Then the next day, he stopped talking to everything but himself, and not even Bright. He wouldn't eat anything anymore. His best friend tried to talk to the brunet multiple times already throughout the day but to his avail, no success. He knocked, banged using his fists—even with his head—and kicked the door of his room but there is still no response. The older one was so worried.

Bright stood right outside the guy's room, holding a serving of pasta, bread and orange juice, and then kicked the door multiple times, roughly and loudly.

"Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, it's dinner time! Won't you eat and just stay all day there?" Bright shouted, still kicking the door.

But there's still no response, the male tried to knock and knock even more.

"Winwin?"

"Don't want, P'Bai," because of his best friend's answer, the guy outside the room heaved a deep sigh before placing the wooden tray with plate full of foods and a glass of orange juice in front of Win's room's door.

He heaved a sigh once again. "Ok, dude. I will just leave these foods here just in case you'll get hungry."

And just with that, Bright returned to the living room, only to be interrupted by the sound of the doorbell outside. "Who is it now?" he murmured as he rushed over to the door and immediately unlocked it. Suprised by seeing Weeraya, he gently smiled and kissed her cheek.

Weeraya at first hesitated and suddenly glanced around in distruct to look for Win after hugging the taller boy back as she blushed. "Where is Metawin? He always interrupts us whenever I come here. I miss that bunny face guy." she said with a smirk and stepped inside. Bright glanced towards his best friend's bedroom and back to the girl.

"That boy right there hasn't come out of his room for like days already. There were times when I thought he was already dead, because he makes no noise." Bright answered and released a deep breath.

Weeraya nodded her head twice. "Uhm, maybe he just got rejected?"

Bright shook his head, creasing his forehead. "I really doubt it since he doesn't have anyone."

"Anyways, if he wants to talk about it then he will talk. Don't worry anymore." the girl muttered softly as he smiled gently at him. "You are his best friend afterall, I am sure he wil tell you. Not now, but soon. Just be patient."

Bright sighed for the nth time and nodded at the girl. "I guess you are right, love."

Weeraya then suddenly moved closer to Bright and playfully touched his broad chest, leaning closer to whisper something at the boy's ear.

"But enough of him, let's just talk about us. I came here for a reason."

At the same time as the doorbell rang, Win slowly and gently opened his bedroom's door because he decided to take the food unnoticed, but then he stopped as he heard a very familiar voice. Nnevvy Weeraya Sukaram, his nemisis. He absolutely despise the girl for no reason, he just hated her. Well, actually his reason was that she is dating his best friend but that is just so childish and unreasonable. He would take any opportunity to just separate those two, especially by interrupting them when they suddenly get closer to each other. And today was no exception. Yes.
