Epilogue

After Via, their lives have never felt so complete. Their love and bond was so strong and they knew that they'd have the perfect ending.

Once Via turned two years old. Not only were tears shed from her parents due to the fact that they never wanted her to grow up so fast but laughter and congratulations were spoken once the Mendes couple found out that they'd be having their second child.

Though, before their announcement or knowledge of the child growing in Camila's stomach, the two had finally felt comfortable leaving Via to go on their honeymoon that was long overdue.

They spent the week in Venice with their hearts so full of love and their smiles wider than ever. I love you's were whispered in the light and in the darkness of their hotel before, during, and after their rummaging in the sheets.

On their last day in Venice, they took a private boat ride with champagne and strawberries filling their stomachs and shared kisses, filling their hearts until they almost exploded.

Nevertheless, Shawn and Camila Mendes were more than happy to go back to their love, Via who spent the week with Aaliyah and Jordan due to the fact that Aaliyah had baby fever and Via enjoyed her aunt and uncle.

Aaliyah and Jordan ended up engaging but didn't plan on getting married soon.

"Mama, Papa!" Their at the time, one year old ran to her parents. With open arms and open hearts, Shawn engulfed their daughter close to his chest as Camila hugged the two whilst the Mendes couple both showered her in kisses.

With the sadness still lingering that Manuel Mendes couldn't see his son's daughter, pictures of her would have to suffice.

Camila felt such a passion for sexual assault survivors that she started to write a book that covered her sexual assault experience, her life before and after, and lastly how complete she felt with the loves of her life which were her family.

The book was a best time seller as she now had many supporters who had her back and expressed their gratitude for saving them and showing them how to be strong and leave such a toxic relationship.

Shawn Mendes has never been prouder of his wife who he continued to fall in love with every single day.

Finally, Shawn and Camila found their dream home for their family of now four. It was a four bedroom and three bathroom home that wasn't too far from Shawn and Camila's old place. It was a homey neighbourhood and once Via turned four, she had her first best friend who lived just down the street.

Peter Alejandro Mendes, who was named after Shawn and Camila's father, was just two years younger than Via and he's the most like Shawn.

Christmas came along and all Via and Peter wanted was a dog. Thankfully, that's what they got and it was all worth it to the couple to see their children so happy.

Of course, the Mendes couple had to spoil them with many more toys and other gadgets that they put on their wish list.

Another year later whilst Via is five and Peter is three came Shawn's birthday.

He wanted something small and something that would just be held with close family and the next day it would be spent with friends.

As his first gift from his two beautiful children and beautiful wife, he received two paintings from their children that he adored and then came his wife's painting.

The painting consisted of their family including their dog Thunder. With Peter in Camila's arms and Via in one of Shawn's as his other arm wrapped around the love of his life, and their dog sitting in the centre, the painting was complete.

"These are beautiful...thank you my loves." He whispered, kissing all of their head and then his wife's lips before their children began to gag.

"Alright, alright...I won't kiss your mama." He joked.

There was one last gift that Camila had for her beloved husband. She made her children promise over and over again that they'd keep it a secret.

Though it was hard for them due to the sheer excitement they had for the new member, they kept the promise for their mama.

She handed him the box that consisted of the peed on stick with the cover over it.

Shawn's jaw dropped and his eyes watered as he once again brought his family close.

"We're having another baby?" He whispered into the crook of his wife's neck, "yes we are, baby."

"God, I love you." He peppered Camila with kisses once their children had fallen asleep.

"I love you more."

Aaliyah Karla Mendes was born and Aaliyah was honoured to have their child named after her.

The couple confirmed that Aaliyah would be their last child. They were all they needed. Though, they were sure that if it was to happen then they'd most definitely need their unexpected but loved child.

Once Via turned seven, Peter turned five and Aaliyah was one, they decided to take their children to Disneyland on their anniversary.

The couple wanted to spend it with their loving children as a reminder that they did that. They persevered through all obstacles that came their way.

Their love was tested but they never failed.

Shawn and Camila Mendes have never been happier.

Camila no longer struggled with the grieving of her sister although she continued to miss her everyday and she no longer worried about people leaving her because she knew that the people she loved, them being her family of five, would never leave her.

Shawn continued to show Camila that he'd never leave, regardless of her protests that she's okay. They never failed to show their love and affection for one another.

Their love would continue to blossom and grow, forever because they both knew that they'd never have it any other way.

If loving each other meant that they had to go through all of the obstacles they went through again, they'd do it in a heartbeat.

Everyday, as silly as it sounds, Camila and Shawn continued to thank Camila's dead phone and Shawn's overbearing parents for putting the two together.

Finally, for their five year wedding anniversary, Shawn and Camila went back to Milan and relived many of their favourite moments. They went to the cafe, Parco Sempione and they even stayed in the same hotel.

It was safe to say that Camila and Shawn's love was certainly adventuress.

"I said it once...I'll say it again. This was adventuress love if I've ever seen one." Shawn chuckled, wrapping her into his arms as they whispered sweet nothings and shared soft caresses, overlooking Milan - the place where they fell in love.

With their love so strong and their family complete, they never had a reason to stop smiling and even then, did the family have whoever was down's back because Shawn and Camila taught their children that.

And they learned from loving one another.
