-Shinso POV-As you walked down the street, you felt your heart thumping in your chest... To say that you were nervous was an understatement. You looked at L/n out of the corner of your eye. She was truly beautiful... She was the brightest light that you had in your dark life. You didn't know where you'd be right now if it weren't for her, but you can guarantee that it'd be nowhere good.
There were so many things that you loved about her... You loved the way that she furrowed her eyebrows when she was thinking or concentrating. You loved how kind and thoughtful she was, and how much she truly cared about her friends. You loved her passion for art and music... And you loved how determined she was to be a hero. She's inspired you to be a better version of yourself ever since you met, and for that, you were eternally grateful. She believed in you at a time when you thought that no one else would.
She had been looking down at her feet as she walked, and she glanced up at you. You realized that you were staring at her as you were lost in thought and quickly looked away. As you walked side-by-side, you felt your hand brush against hers once or twice... The urge to take her hand in yours was overwhelming, but you didn't want to overstep your boundaries, at least not yet... You didn't know what she wanted, and you didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.

-Y/n POV-
Your hands brushed together a couple of times as you walked, and a part of you secretly wished that he would hold your hand. As you rounded a corner, he pointed to the other side of the street. "We need to cross here." You nodded your head in response and went to step off of the curb, but as you did so, a car came careening in your direction. Before you could react, you felt another hand seize yours and you were pulled backwards directly into someone's arms. They held onto your hand, and wrapped their other arm around your waist as the car sped right by where you were just walking. You heard Shinso mutter under his breath right next to your ear, "That asshole..."
"Holy shit... I almost fucking died." You glanced up at him and saw his eyebrows furrowed in the direction of the retreating car. He looked back at you and you stayed like this for a moment. "He saved my life again."
"You okay?" he asked you with concern. You nodded your head.
"Yeah..." You breathed hard and he pulled himself away from you. Your heart was racing, but you weren't sure if it was because of the speeding car or Shinso. "Thank you... You saved me again."
"You're welcome." He put a hand on the back of his neck. "I guess we're even now..." You gave him a questioning glance, and he explained. "You saved my life twice against that fire guy at the training camp, and now I've saved you a second time too. Hopefully we won't have to keep saving each other, though... It's getting ridiculous," he said with a small smile.
You laughed a little bit. "Hah, yeah..." You then glanced down to see that he was still holding your hand and instead of pulling it away, you gave it a slight squeeze. His eyes snapped down to your hands and he looked back up at you in surprise. You gave him a smile and went to stand next to him, and you headed to your destination together.

After another few minutes of walking, Shinso stopped in front of a place with a sign that read 'Teppan Baby Shinjuku'. "Is this the place?" you ask him.
He nods his head and looks at you. "We've gotten ramen so many times, I figured we'd try something different. Is that all right with you?" he asks nervously.
"Of course!" You gave him a bright smile. It made you happy to know that he'd put some thought into where he was taking you. He seemed pleased with your answer and you both entered the restaurant. Once you were seated, you took a look at the menu and after ordering, you sat there and sipped on your Mitsuya Cider.

-Shinso POV-
As she took a sip of her drink, you couldn't help but look at her lips... They were tinted violet to match her dress and the ends of her hair. She didn't normally wear makeup, and in your opinion, she didn't need to... She looked pretty without it. But still... Her lips looked very nice.
You realized that you were staring again and shook your head. "I need to cut that out... She's going to start thinking I'm a creep."
You looked away and took a sip of your own drink when she spoke up. "I was wondering, did any of the girls from 1A tell you what my dress was going to look like? ... Because you matched it perfectly." She pointed to your shirt.
You swallowed your drink. "Actually, Bakugo helped pick this out for me." You thought back to earlier that evening, when the blonde had shown up at your dorm room with an armful of shirts... You'd noticed that they all had at least a hint of violet in them. "Ashido must've told him what the dress would look like... And he must've picked the shirts accordingly."
She looked surprised. "Really?? I thought you two didn't get along?"
You put a hand on the back of your head. "Yeah, it surprised me too."
She smiled. "Well, I'm glad to hear that he doesn't want to murder you, at least."
You let out a laugh at that. "Hah, you and me both." You sat in silence for another minute and listened to the hustle and bustle around you. People were chatting and the kitchen was noisy... Someone dropped a plate nearby and someone else was slurping on their noodles. As you looked around, you glanced out the nearby window and saw a girl skipping past. Her blonde hair was up in two messy buns on the sides of her head, and she was wearing a sweater over her school uniform. As she passed, she looked inside the restaurant and made eye contact with you. Her yellow eyes lit up and she shot you a creepy-looking smile before she skipped past the window. "That was fucking weird..."
"Shinso?" You heard L/n's voice speak up. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I just... I thought I saw something." You waved it off – it was probably nothing.
"Okay..." She seemed unconvinced, but she dropped it anyway.
"Also, um..." You scratched the back of your head nervously. "... it's Hitoshi."
"... What?"
"I... I want you to call me Hitoshi." This was something you'd secretly been thinking about for a while. She'd been your best friend for a few months now, and you wanted to get closer with her... You figured that the best way to start was to have her begin calling you by your first name.
She gave you that bright smile that you've come to love so much. "Well in that case, I want you to call me Y/n!"
You smiled back at her. "Okay... Y/n."
Teppan Baby Shinjuku is an actual place in Tokyo, but let's just pretend that it's in Musutafu. Also, here's a little fun fact: In Japan, it's polite to slurp your noodles! My parents were in the Navy, and they stayed in Japan for a while before I was born, so they told me a bit about it.
