-Shinso POV-

It's been a couple of weeks since the night that Y/n rescued you. You had stayed at home to recover for two days before heading back to school, and your uncle Shota had her put on house arrest during that time as punishment for staying out past campus curfew. When you both returned to classes, you weren't sure how you were supposed to act... You both had admitted your feelings to each other, but you hadn't established whether or not you were dating, so you decided to give the relationship some time to develop.

On your first day back, you were bombarded with questions from your classmates regarding your abduction. The police had released a statement about what had happened, and everyone wanted to hear whether or not it was true. All you could do was repeat what the police had reported; That your uncle was the one who rescued you from the League of Villains. Every time you said this, you looked at Y/n and gave her a knowing smile, which she returned. You knew that she didn't like not getting any recognition for saving your life, but you wanted her to know that you would never forget what she had done for you.

Agoyamato began hanging around your group of friends more and more as of late, and he had figured out fairly quickly that Y/n was actually the one who had rescued you. Once he heard that she had stayed out past campus curfew the same night that you were rescued, it didn't take long for him to connect the dots... The guy was definitely smarter than you gave him credit for, that's for sure. Now you, Y/n, Agoyamato and Togeike were the only students who knew the truth about what had happened, and the four of you gradually became closer as friends as a result.

Now, it was the day of the school festival. The past couple of weeks had been spent preparing class 1C's haunted house, and honestly, you couldn't wait for it to be over so that you could enjoy the rest of the festival and spend more time with Y/n. You were a bit nervous... You still hadn't established whether the two of you were dating at this point, and you really wanted to take your relationship to the next level.

"This is it... Today's the day I'm going to take a leap of faith and ask her out."

As you and your classmates finished putting the final touches on the haunted house, you were thinking about when would be the right time to ask her when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to find the girl in question standing there with a huge smile on her face. "You ready to go see 1A's performance??" she asked.

You shrug. "Eh, I was just going to wait over here until the haunted house started..."

She furrowed her eyebrows and crossed her arms. "Hitoshi, they're your friends too, aren't they?"

"Well yeah, but- "

"Then there's no excuse!! Don't make me drag your ass over there... You know I will," she said menacingly.

The thought of attending the show bored you, but you knew that she was excited to hear live music, so you gave in. "... Fine."

-Y/n POV-

With the curtains on the stage drawn, you couldn't help the excitement that bubbled up within you. You were so thrilled to be at an actual concert! Sure, it's put together by kids who are the same age as you, but you didn't care. You just wanted to see your friends perform live. Jiro had spent weeks writing this one song and had sent you samples of the lyrics during that time to get your input, seeing as you were an expert in the English language. She never sent you the music, though, so you had no idea what the song was going to sound like.

You look to your left; Chikuchi and Agoyamato had shown up, but were only there to critique class 1A's performance. You look to your right and saw Hitoshi, standing there with a bored expression on his face. It was kind of disappointing that you were the only one in the group who was excited to see the show, but you were too pumped up to give it much thought.
