-Y/n POV-

You quickly rushed after Dabi, using your quirk to dampen your footsteps and keep yourself hidden from him. As he marched down the hall, you saw a figure coming from the opposite direction. Once she came into view, you recognized her as the girl with the blonde hair that you saw at the mall. She had knives strapped to her legs, she was still wearing a school uniform and her hair was still in two messy buns on the sides of her head. She skipped right up to Dabi and stopped in front of him. "Hey, Dabi! Whatcha doin?"

"Nothing," he grumbled.

"Oooh, are you going to kill Hitoshi? Can I come??" The girl sounded psychotic as she spoke.

"No."

"Aww, but I want to make him bleed!" She pulled out one of her knives and played with it in her hands as she bit her lip. This girl looked just as crazy as she sounded.

"You're not going to do shit. Now leave me alone." He stormed past her and she let out a huff.

"Hmph... Party pooper." She continued skipping past, but came to a stop when she neared where you were standing.

"Can she tell that I'm here? I'm keeping myself hidden from her..."

She slowly turned around and faced away from you. Then after a couple of seconds, she suddenly spun around and flung her knife right at your head. You just barely managed to dodge it, and she stood there staring at the knife as it stuck into the wall where your head was just a moment ago.

"Holy shit..."

You silently took a couple of steps to the side, and she walked up to the knife and pulled it out of the wall before sticking it back in the sheath strapped to her leg. She then turned and continued skipping down the hall, humming to herself as she did so.

After taking a moment to lower your heart rate, you rushed down the hallway in the direction that Dabi went. Through your scope, you saw him in the distance as he approached a closed door and pushed it open. You quickly went up to the doorway and looked inside. Dabi flipped a switch on the wall, and a light that hung from the ceiling in the center of the room came to life. You shut off the night vision mode on the scope, and you were shocked by what you saw.

There, sitting in a chair directly below the light, was Hitoshi. His limbs were strapped to a wooden chair, and he had his head hanging down in front of him. Dabi walked up and looked down on him for a moment before he kicked him in the shin.

"Mmf!!" Hitoshi yelled as he was jolted awake. You flinched, and as he lifted his head, you saw that his mouth had been taped shut.

"I bet they did that so he couldn't use his quirk on them."

"Wake the fuck up," Dabi hissed. The man then circled around him like a predator cornering its prey. He did this for a few seconds before he spoke up again. "The others want to keep you alive... They think that you just need a little more convincing to get you to join us. But I know better..." He stopped in front of Hitoshi and stared him down, and Hitoshi glared right back.

"I know what it's like to be surrounded by people who want to be heroes." He said the last word like it was a plague that should be avoided. "They're bastards... Every last one of them. You wanna know how I got these scars?" He pointed to his face. "My old man, a 'pro hero', would train me until my flesh burned... Every day of my childhood was filled with pain and misery. He wanted me to surpass All Might as the number one hero... It was his sole obsession. He was willing to do anything to make that dream a reality, even if that meant breaking me down until I was nothing."

"Oh my God... It's no wonder why this guy hates heroes."

"He would always tell me that I was a disappointment... That I'd never become a great hero. I'm sure you know how that feels, Hitoshi Shinso..." You watched as Hitoshi hung his head a bit. Dabi smirked down at him. "I bet you've heard stuff like that all your life... 'You'll never become a hero, Shinso'... 'With a quirk like brainwashing, you might as well be a villain'... So why not take the right path when you have the chance? I found my solace when I left that old world behind and took on the name 'Dabi'. But you... You still want to become a hero. You want to become the kind of person that I've come to hate all my life... And for that, you must die."

"No..."

"But I'll give you one last chance to change your fate... Join us and be with people who truly believe in your potential. Give up your dream of being a hero and become the villain that you were meant to be."

Hitoshi glared up at him at that moment. "Mm mmh mhm mmh!!" He tried to yell through the tape, but barely any sound came out. Dabi rolled his eyes and walked up to Hitoshi before ripping the tape off of his mouth and as soon as he did, Hitoshi spat in his face.

Dabi wiped the spit away. "Grrrrr!" He growled before bringing his fist back and punching Hitoshi square in the jaw.

"Oh my God!"

"Fine, then!" Dabi raised his right arm, pointing it at Hitoshi, and you watched as it became engulfed in blue flames. "I hope you prefer cremation."

-Shinso POV-

"I hope you prefer cremation," the jackass says as he surrounds his arm in fire. You close your eyes, prepared for what comes next, but it never came. Instead, you heard a girl's voice scream, "NOOOOO!!!" and you open your eyes in time to see a figure come in from the side and punch the guy right in the face. You heard what sounded like metal hitting bone before he was sent flying and landing on the ground with a loud *thud!*. He remained motionless as he laid there, and you turn your head to look up at your savior. Your vision was still blurry from having hardly gotten any sleep, and your head was dizzy from having just been punched, but you could still make out a familiar black and violet costume standing before you.

"... Y/n?"

Yes, I believe in the 'Dabi is a Todoroki' theory. (Honestly, who doesn't?)
