(1 week later)You adjust the skirt of your uniform... God, you hated this thing. You had to put some leggings underneath it this morning to keep yourself from potentially ripping it off and replacing it with yoga pants halfway through the day.
On your way to your assigned class 1C, you stopped by 1A to peek inside and see if Aizawa had arrived yet, but someone had beaten you to it... Leaning through the doorway was none other than the messy purple – no, violet – haired kid that you saw at the entrance exam. Seeing him standing at the entrance to class 1A, you thought that maybe he had made it into the hero course.
"Lucky bastard..."
But then, he backed out of the doorway and you only caught a glimpse of the side of his face before he turned away and continued heading down the hall. You watched him from a distance and were surprised to see him continue walking past class 1B and through the doors that led to 1C. "So he's in general studies, too," you thought to yourself. "Well, at least I'll finally get to find out who he is."
-------------------------------
As you entered the classroom for 1C, you took in the faces of everyone around you. None of them were overly excited to be there, seeing as this wasn't the hero course, but everyone was still present. By the time you had arrived, there was only one seat available, right behind a dark-haired girl with short pigtails who looked like she had a resting bitch face. "This ought to be interesting..."
As you quietly take your seat, you immediately feel eyes following you. You wondered what part of you they were staring at... Your American nose? Height? Shoulders? In an attempt to direct the attention away from yourself, you began talking to the girl in front of you. However, before you can even exchange names, the teacher walks in and starts speaking.
"All right, everyone. My name is Mrs. Nomura, and I will be your instructor for the school year. Welcome to class 1C!"
*... silence...*
No one said a word. You could tell that nobody was thrilled to be stuck in class 1C. And honestly, she seemed a bit too excited to be teaching a general studies class. Nevertheless, she continued with her speech. "... Right... Now, before we begin class, we're all going to head to the auditorium for an orientation for you new students! Everyone line up; We're all going to be sitting together to properly represent 1C."
-------------------------------
You all went through the orientation, presented by Present Mic. You knew the man just a little bit through Aizawa, but not enough to call him a friend. Throughout the ceremony, you kept glancing toward the boy with the violet hair, who took a seat in the row in front of you and about five seats to your right. You couldn't help it; You were just so drawn to that color. You still couldn't see his face, but you wanted to get to know this guy more than anything.
-------------------------------
You all returned to your classroom and took the same seats you sat in before heading to the orientation. Mrs. Nomura stands at the front of the class and waits for everyone to take their seats before she starts speaking. "Now that we're all here, I'd like to ask each of you to introduce yourselves, tell the others about your quirk and one other interesting thing about you."
As everyone shared their introductions, you learned that the girl in front of you was named Chikuchi Togeike, and that her quirk involved sensing other people's emotions. "That's pretty useful."
Next, it was your turn. You slowly got to your feet to face the class and, despite all of your insecurities, held your head up and began your introduction. "Hello! My name is Y/n L/n, and I've spent the last five years in America. My quirk is called 'Illusion.' I can alter each of a person's five senses to either make them experience small hallucinations, or to completely alter the perception of their surroundings."
