First of all, thank you for 5.5K reads! It's nice to see that you enjoy my work.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to take a break from this book. Writers block has hit hard and I feel like I don't have such a good grip on the characters any more. That's the trouble with writing characters that already exist: you have to make them seem like themselves, as opposed to your version of them.
Another reason I'm taking a break from this is that my novel is begging to be written and I need to work on it sometime and it's just not feasible to spend all my energy on this when my novel is (hopefully) going to be sold. It's my dream to have a book that I've sold copies of, with my characters and my plot.
I've loved writing this so much and I really hope to return soon, especially as I have requests to write and I'm loathe to let you down.
But at this point in time, it's not prudent of me to continue writing this book.
Again, I really hope to return soon but I'm sorry for taking a break right now.
