The only thing I remember was feeling like my body was rocking back and forth. I, who wasn't even fully conscious, felt a wave of confusion and I began to worry that this might be another dream; An experience I definitely didn't want to relive.

Afraid to open my eyes, I kept them shut tight as I heard someone utter my name. But the voice was distinctly different than the girl's voice. In fact, it was easily recognizable.

I opened my eyes as I watched Tucker at work rolling me back and forth like a log in a river. He continued to do so for a while until he finally realized I was awake.

"Oh Arthur, you're awake."

I sat up and yawned. I got slightly teary-eyed as I usually did when I yawned, before quickly wiping my eyes.

"I am...what's the emergency? Did something happen?" I said in a noticeably drowsy tone. I didn't try to hide how weary I felt.

"Nah man, I jus' came to tell ya that we're heading out soon." He looked around my neat room. Aside from my bag and my shoes in the middle of the room, it appeared the exact same as when it was granted to me. "Though by the looks of it you're all set."

"Yea, yea," I waved Tucker off as I laid back down and closed my eyes. "I'll be up in a second."

"Aight, but don't go back to sleep. I want out."

"Too much 'adventure' for you?" I shot at him.

"Staying here gives me anxiety. Bein' around all these beauties is nice and all, but they all wanna kill me."

"We did warn you."

"I didn't think it'd be this bad! Whatever, get ready soon."

"Yes sir." I said in a mocking tone.

It wasn't until I heard the door close that I relaxed a little.

Home, here we come, Miss Mya sang.

For better or for worse.

You don't mind staying here? With these discriminatory women?

It doesn't matter to me. I'm fine either way.

As usual with that indifferent attitude.

I'd like to think it keeps me alive.

Fair enough. But it can also get you in trouble.

How so?

Not making a decision means a choice is being made for you. And not everyone will want you to succeed.

When that time comes, I'll decide.

Will you now?

Miss Mya didn't say anything after that and I proceeded to rest for another minute. After which I decided it was time to get ready. I lazily pushed myself up, put on my socks, and started tying my sneakers when I heard a faint voice.

"Arthur..."

A chill ran down my spine as I froze up for a split second. Feeling paranoid, I looked around my room but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Everything was where it should be.

Everything all right?

Miss Mya, did you hear that?

Hear what?

The voice from the dream called my name.

Are you sure you're not still half-asleep?

I guess that is a possibility. But I'm pretty sure I heard her voice just now.
