The first thing I noticed as I opened my eyes was that the ceiling was more narrow than my bedroom. It was also darker, but all around me was gloomy and eerie so it wasn't exactly limited to the ceiling.

Where am I?

A cold chill ran down my spine as I sat up, which made me hop up to my feet. I could feel goosebumps rise on my hands and legs. As I surveyed my surroundings, it was clear I was in a hallway, although how I got here was a mystery. White painted doors lined up left and right with no end in sight.

I took a breath but was surprised to learn I could see my breath. It wasn't until I saw it that I realized I felt cold and started shivering almost immediately.

A thick fog slowly began to seep from virtually nowhere and covered the seemingly endless corridor. Even the doors disappeared from sight.

Not knowing what to do, I walked to the door on my left. It was still there, but it was locked and wouldn't budge. I tried the next two doors and was met with the same result. Curious if it was a puzzle of some kind, I tried three of the doors on the right before coming to the realization that it was likely all the doors were locked.

What do I do now? I guess I'll just keep going down the hallway. It has to lead somewhere right?

I started down the hall through the thick fog. Paranoia filled my head. I was worried a creature of some kind would jump on me from the fog of war. I knew it was unlikely but considering what I've dealt with this past week it wasn't out of the question.

I was walking for what felt like forever; I was afraid it wasn't going to end. After awhile, I tried opening one of the doors, but to no avail. I tried knocking incase a person was inside, but there was no answer. After waiting and not getting a response, I continued walking until I was met with a door at the end of the seemingly endless hallway. But compared to the plain doors I saw before, this door had a vibrant dark blue color scheme with a pink flower design on the door.

How decorated...clearly someone has to be inside there right?

I tried knocking again, but like earlier, there was no answer. Considering how out of place the door was, I figured I might as well see if it's locked or not. As I reached for the doorknob, hoping this one opened, I paused, closed my eyes and sneezed.

And I like the cold too. But this place is freezing, I thought, still shivering.

I reached for the doorknob and to my excitement it actually turned. But just before I yanked it open, the same voice from my last dream echoed throughout the room.

Let's see what's inside your heart. Will your fate be sealed like the others? I wonder.

I froze. I couldn't say anything. I wanted to ask who was there or who she was but my mouth wouldn't move. The door shot open, bumping my hand out of the way. A bright light flashed inside of the room and without thinking I began walking inside. I turned behind me to see the hallway that was previously there was replaced with nothing. Literally nothing. There were no doors or no no fog. Just darkness. I faced forward and took my last step into the blinding light. Only when I began to fall did I realize there was no ground. The light grew brighter, to the point where it was impossible to see my own hands in front of my face. Unable to take the brightness, I closed my eyes.

The next thing I remember is jumping up to the sound of someone knocking on a door. As I looked around, only once I was certain this was my room did I ease up a little. The knock came again. I plodded over to the door and opened it somewhat worried. My worries dissipated when I saw that it was just Sophia, who was carrying a silver platter with her.

"Oh you're awake." She said with a surprised expression.

I yawned. "Yeah, I just woke up. What's that in your hand?"
