I woke up feeling as refreshed I had after I previously dozed off. I stood up and stretched, unable to grow accustomed to how energized I currently felt.

I may able to keep up with Ainia now.

Images of Ória flashed into my mind and how much of a baby I must've looked like sobbing into her lap.

Then I thought about how she touched my chest and somehow made me cry. I wanted to ask Miss Mya about her but I didn't want to bring up what just occurred. That meant I had to remember it.

I shook my head and slapped my cheeks. Just don't think about it.

I picked up my phone from the nightstand next to my bed.

7:50 pm.

At least I'm not late for dinner. Possibly the best result.

Guess I'll head down now.

I took a quick shower, grabbed Essentia and my phone and headed downstairs, where just about everyone was already there.

As usual, Mr. Reginald and Miss Cecilia sat near one another, as did Valerie and Veronica near the opposite end of the table. Alec and his nerdy friend sat together a few seats away from Leon, who was sitting alone. Mary and Tucker sat a seat apart so I could sit in the middle. On the left of Mary was Sophia and past her was Ainia.

When I arrived Alec glared at me intensely with a scowl, informing me who won the challenge, not that I had any doubts about Ainia winning.

"Ooh ooh Arthur!" Ainia called as I sat down.

"Hmm?"

"That boy refused to give up and kept challenging me. He was really dedicated."

That's a nice way to say desperate.

"Did you have fun?" It sounded like I was a parent asking their about their day at school.

"Was a lot of fun. He had more cars than most people in Proeliumeis."

"Cars? You mean drive?"

"That works" She replied.

I could feel the heat from the side of my face. I didn't need to turn to Alec to know he was glaring at me.

I looked at Tucker. "How'd the grind go?"

"Eighteen game win streak baby! I'm on top of the world!" Tucker flexed his muscles and retained a smug expression on his face.

"Please lower your voice," Miss Cecilia politely requested.

"No can do, I feel the fire within."

Miss Cecilia sighed and Mr. Reginald laughed.

Mary and Sophia were talking about what movie they wanted to go see. It looked like Sophia finally cracked Mary and convinced her to go out with Sophia on her next day off.

The smile on Sophia's face couldn't be anything but genuine. That just shows how enthusiastic she is about spending time with Mary. And despite her stoic expression, I can guess Mary isn't really that opposed to it either.

A few minutes later and everyone's conversation was cut short by another one of Mr. Broussard's grandiose entrances. After making a scene and gathering feedback from everyone, he fled with his entourage trailing behind him, most likely to experiment with different dishes.

For tonight, he cooked barbecue, complete with ribs, steak, hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and caesar salad.

This was probably the most stuffed I've been in awhile. With the exception of the coleslaw and the potato salad I filled my plate with everything. By the end of it, my plate was nearly spotless.
