I parked in the parking lot for the almost packed carnival. Catra got out of the car and walked up to the stand. "So I have until 12:00?" I asked. "Yes you have until the end of the night." Glimmer said. "And we will be your emotional support crew," Bow said. "Thanks Bow." I said. "Hey what about me?" Glimmer asked. "You are making me confess to my crush or you're going to tell her so you don't deserve a thanks." I said. "But that was on your plan to make her yours right?" She asked. "Why Would anyone want to ride this?" I asked her, kinda scared. "Because it's fun." She said, turning to look at me. "Oh my god! Adora are you scared?" She asked in between laughs. "N-NO!" I said defensively. "Oh my god you are." She said while holding her stomach from laughter. "NO I AM NOT" I yelled at her. "You totally are scared, admit it." She said. "Fine I'm scared are you happy" I asked her, throwing my hands up. "No" She stopped laughing. "What? But I said I was scared so why aren't you happy." I asked her. "Because now I dont have anyone to ride with." She said. "I said I was scared I never said I wouldn't ride" I quickly said because I didn't want her to be sad. "So you'll ride with me?" She asked. I sighed and said "I guess. She smiled and ran into the line. After 15 minutes we got on the ride and let me just say that was the worst ride EVER. We got off of the ride and I ran off and tried to find the nearest trash can. Catra must have followed me because when I threw up into the trash can she said "Adora are you okay?" I wiped my mouth with my sleeve and said "Yeah I'm fine." "I wouldn't have asked you to ride that ride with me if I knew this was going to happen" She said clearly worried. "It's fine." I said. I pulled away from her and she said "Who said I was worried about you." My eyes widen. So she really doesn't care about me. She must have seen the look on my face because she then said "I'm just joking Adora. Don't take it so seriously." I laughed nervously and said "Oh". "Did you think I actually didn't care?" She asked, confused. "A little" I said sheepishly. "Oh com on Adora you know me better than that." She said. I laughed nervously and said "Yeah your right." "Well since my pick was a bad one, what do you want to ride?" She asked. "Um how about we do the house of mirrors." I said. "Allright." We walked over to where the house of mirrors was and waited until the instructor told us we could go in. We walked in and Catra started feeling the walls and finding where to go. I followed her but after she turned for the third time I couldn't find her. I tried to find my way around. I felt a hole and walked into it only to be met with another mirror. "OW" I yelled as I hit the mirror. I sat down on the floor and held my face trying not to cry. I heard panting and turned around to see the reflection of Catra running around. I looked at her running around until I thought I saw her get closer and say "Adora". Come on Adora you know she wouldn't come back for you. She basically just told her she doesn't care about you. I have to confess my love for her tonight as well. Prepare to get rejected. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Adora are you okay?" I looked up to see Catra. "I'm fine but why did you come back here?" I asked. "Because I heard you scream." She said. "But why did you come back." I asked her. " Because you're my friend and I care about you." She said, giving me a small smile while looking in my eyes. "Aw you like me." I said forgetting about the pain. "I do not," She said, getting defensive. "Admit it you like me." I said smiling. "Say one more thing and I won't help you get out." I stopped talking because I did not feel like hitting another mirror. She stood up and started walking. I didn't move and she turned around and walked back to me. She put her hand out and said "You coming?" I smiled and grabbed her hand. I could feel my cheeks turn red but I also saw hers turn red too. Why would she blush? She doesn't like me. Why would anyone in their right mind like me. They wouldn't, so maybe she is just embarrassed of me. Yeah that's probably it. I felt my smile turn into a frown as I was thinking. I didn't even realize I was walking until Catra said "Hey Blondie the turn is over here". I snapped out of my thoughts and saw a mirror in front of me and Catra to my right looking at me concerned. "Oh yeah sorry." i said as I turned and walked to where Catra was glumly. "Hey Adora you okay?" She asked me. "Yeah I'm fine." I said.
"Are you sure?" Catra asked me. "Yeah I'm fine" I lied. "Okay" She said before turning back around to find our way out. She led us out of the house of mirrors. "Well what should we do now?" I asked her. "I don't know I will probably get something to eat I guess." she said. "Oh okay where do you want to eat?" I asked her. She just shrugged her shoulders and started walking. I followed her and asked "Catra are you okay?" She stopped and snapped "Yeah i'm fine right?" She then continued walking. I just messed up big time and know she is mad at me. Great.
