Chapter 23: WHAT!?

Adora POV

I woke up and smiled. I got up, got dressed, and went down stairs. I was making eggs when I heard Glimmer yell "IT'S CCCCCHHHHHHRRRRRIIIIISSSSSTTTTTTMMAAAAASSSSS" as she ran down the stairs. I heard a door open and heard angella say "What is the meaning of this Glima." "It's Christmas sweetie what did you expect." Micah said. I laughed and put the eggs on the plate next to the bacon and pancakes. I set all of them on the table. Glimmer immediately sat down and started eating. Micah and Angella made their dissent down the stairs with their arms linked before they sat down. "Thank you Adora." Angella said. "Yeah this is really good." Micah said. "Ike berry berry lood" Glimmer said with her mouth full. I laughed and said "thanks". This is almost perfect. All it's missing is Bow and Catra. "Hey Glimmer why don't you invite Bow over?" I asked. She swallowed her food and said "I did. He said he is going to spend the morning with his dads and then he'll come over." I nodded my head and took a bite of my eggs. We sat there and ate. The moment we all finished our food Glimmer stood up, put her pate in the sink, and ran over to the Christmas tree. She did it so fast it was like she teleported. By the time Angella, Micah, and I got to where Glimmer was it was a mess. Glimmer had thrown all the presents around, but had hers in a neatly stacked pile. "GLIMA" Angella yelled. "Whaaat" Glimmer groaned. "Sort all of these NOW." She said. "Finnne" Glimmer groaned again as she stood up. After Glimmer had put all of our presents in a pile, while complaining the entire time, we started to open them. After we finished that Angella asked "So what was your favorite present this year. "The glitter." Glimmer said. "What about you Adora" She asked. I looked down at my necklace and smiled. "This" I said as I held it up. "Really you liked that more than the shoes?" Glimmer asked. I nodded my head and Angella said "Well it's a gift from a person she cares about Glimmer. If Bow was to give you a gift you'd like it more than anything I gave you." "Wait. Bow? Are you two dating now?" Micah asked, completely lost. "Yes Dad." Glimmer said kind of annoyed. "Well I like him." He said as he smiled. "I know you both do." Glimmer said. We all laughed a little at that. "DING DONG". The doorbell rang. "Right on time huh?" Micha said, causing us to laugh again. He walked to the door and said "Come in, come in." He motioned into the house and Bow walked in with four presents, and flowers. Glimmer ran up to him and hugged him. "Hi Micah, Hi Angella, Hey Adora, Hey Glimmer." Bow said. He handed Angella and Micah a present each and then handed me one. He handed Glimmer a present and the flowers. "Oh Bow is this a book that teaches you how to cook? Thank you now we don't have to order take out every day." Angella said as she held the book. "Hey this is a how to connect to little kids book." Micah said, confused. "Is it a gag gift?" All of us laughed except Micha. "Yeah dad it's totally a gag gift." Glimmer said. Glimmer and I opened our presents next and they held the same thing. A white T-shirt with four people on the front and it said BEST FRIENDS SQUAD on the back in multi colored letters. "Really Bow?" Glimmer asked as she giggled. "Yes, we're the best fRieNds sQuad." Bow said. "Who's the fourth person?" I asked. "It's Catra." Bow said. I smiled and said "Thanks Bow." "No problem." He said. We all sat down on the couch to watch 'How the Grinch stole Christmas' when my phone rang. "Excuse me, I'll be right back" I said as I got up and went to my room. I hit the answer button and said "Hello". "Hello is this Adora Moon?" A lady asked. "Yes, who is this."
