Lahat ng mga kaklase ko ay tumingin sa kaniya bago sa akin. They looked at me with their teasing smiles.
I looked at him, confused. I looked at him like I was asking him how did he know and why did he called my name?!
And why did he excused me. Does he need his handkerchief back?
You know, this could've meant different from my classmates' minds if he wasn't holding a flower and a box of chocolates! I know they were all looking at him... And what he was holding. And he just excused me from my class while holding those... and smiling and winking at me. They're all getting the wrong assumptions!
Ang i-issue pa naman ng mga kaklase ko! Plus, sa time pa ni Miss Lorraine na isa pang ma-issue na teacher. Makita ka lang niya na may kasamang ka na ka-opposite ng gender mo ay aasarin ka na. Kaya iniiwasan rin siya ng mga mag jojowa dito, eh.
Jaeden whistled. "Nag dadalaga na top one natin..."
And because of that... His friends teased me as well.
"Bakit?" Miss Lorraine asked. Tumingin ako sa kanya.
Oh, shit. Here we go.
"Manliligaw?" She asked, glancing at that guy and me. Liningon ko si 'That Guy', and his lips parted before he chuckled.
Why is he acting like that?! That's why they're getting the wrong assuptions, eh!
Miss Lorraine laughed. "Sige na. Austria daw..."
I internally rolled my eyes before I stood up. When I was walking towards 'That Guy' I could hear the whispers of my classmates. Well it's not like they're talking something bad. It was like they were happy for me.
I looked at him, eyebrows furrowed. "What?"
He smiled. Oh, he looks good.
Sumilip siya sa classroom at sinabing, "Miss, pinapaexcuse po siya ni Aldrin, Kuya niya."
My lips parted.
I heard disappointments from my classmates. Well, some were laughing! Nakakahiya!
I really thought that for a second, I was crushing over him. Well... Not anymore. Na turn off na ako.
"Miss, para sa 'yo. Galing kay Sir Miguel," he said to Miss Lorraine.
My lips parted, I was embarrassed! He should've just said, "Miss, excuse po kay Abreu Gayle Austria, pinapa excuse po ni Aldrin Gabriel Austria," or sana sinabi niya na na hindi siya nanliligaw nung tinanong siya ni Miss.
I was about to ask him why did he just embarrassed me, when I saw Kuya. Nakatalikod siya at mukhang pinapanood ang ulan. I pursed my lips before I came to him.
"Kuya," I called him. My lips parted when I saw his face. He looked... Awful. Kanina lang ay ang ayos ng mukha niya, tapos ngayon... I winced as I shake my head with folded arms before saying, "You're... So dead. Lagot ka talaga kay Mama."
He had a cut on his cheek and a black eye. Well it's not really that bad. But the fact that he have that on his face... He's gonna get scolded by our Mother.
Kuya rolled his eyes. "I know... That's why you have to cover me up."
"Dadamay mo nanaman ako. Alam mo naman na na s-sense ni Mama kapag nag sisinungaling ako."
"Just tell her it's Andy's birthday. Iinom kami kaya hindi ako makakauwi."
"But Kuya... That was your reason last week."
