CHAPTER 16
"How's Trigo?" I got a problem with Trigo yesterday. Nag-puyat kami ni Kuya para roon.
I gave him a thumbs up and smiled.
I already told him what happened yesterday. I was surprised that he didn't overreacted that I ate with his guy friends. I didn't know why. Baka nag-mature na siya.
"Hahatid mo po ba ako sa sakayan? Or sa bahay?" I asked him while we were walking on the hallway. I really wanted to hang out with my friends more... Pero 'tong si Kuya, kill joy.
"Bahay na," aniya. Himala, diretso uwi kaagad siya. My forehead creased when I saw his friends from afar, waiting for us. "Tambay ulit kami. Kwarto ka lang."
Okay, hindi pa rin pala siya nag-mature.
I smiled at Gael when our eyes met. His lips slightly parted before flashing a smile and nodded. Kaonti lang naman sila ngayon. Si Kuya, Kuya Andy, Kuya Thomas, Kuya Benedict, Kuya Nash, and Gael. Nasa jeep kaming lahat except for Kuya Benedict and Gael na nasa motor.
"Andito nanaman kayo?"
I just shook my head.
I pursed my lips as I watched Gael playing.
I guess it wasn't a serious game. Nag-tatawanan lang sila, eh. Nag-babatuhan pa nga ng bola sa ulo.
I slightly opened the window up, para marinig ko sila.
"We don't do that here..."
I pursed my lips before I closed the window. Kuya, you're so clueless!
Pero I was so curious. And I also wanted to hear Gael's voice, kaya iniwan ko na bahagyang nakabukas ang bintana as I was studying for the last day of exam.
"Cheap," Kuya Benedict said. "Meron kasi kaming coffee beans galing starbucks... so...
