chapter 5

ZOE'S POV

"Finally look who's wearing a skirt." Sammy shouts out loud as I enter the classroom. "I also don't believe I took your silly advice." "No we have so much makeover to do on you, firstly that skirt has to go up a bit and your hair you could have let it be loose."

"I'm still a school kid." I remind her. "Fine I get it, I'll leave the hair part but as for the skirt I'm going to lift it up for you." She doesn't waste any time on that one. She lifts up my school Jersey along with the skirt. She ties up a belt on the skirt after lifting it up to make sure it doesn't get loose or falls down. I don't allow her to make it that short though. It's not short; it's a little bit above my knees, long enough to cover my thighs.

"Much better although you wouldn't let me do my job." "Thanks Sammy is okay this way." I say and she nods. "That's great then, so during break time you'll have to appear by the Gr 12 block." "If Mike wants me he knows very well where to find me." "You and your stubborn head." Sammy jokes. "I agree with you on that one." I laugh. "You think is sexy being stubborn" "yes" we both laugh at my response.

Its break time now and I've been waiting for Mike to show up. Still no sign of him. I guess I am a fool expecting a guy like him to show up for a girl as simple as me while he's used to girls throwing themselves at him.

MIKE'S POV

"So you'll stop by my house later today to finish what we started?" I ask Natasha. "You know I wouldn't say no to you." She responds with no doubt. "Great then see you later." I smack her ass and she giggles. I know she likes that. Natasha and I aren't dating we are just friends with benefits. For her own sake I hope she doesn't catch feelings because I'm not looking for a dating partner.

Break's almost over and I just remembered I made a promise to Zoe, to go check on her. I'm the biggest fool ever! How did I forget that? I wasted my time on some stupid girl who has no morals, Natasha of all people. I'll have to make it up to her tomorrow.

ZOE'S POV

I get home disappointed, well there's absolutely no reason to be but I admit I am disappointed, after trying so hard to look my best on a skirt, only for him not showing up. I wait to get a message or a call for an explanation at least, nothing. I keep myself busy by reading my favorite novel, AFTER by Anna Todd. I've read it several times but I'm not tired of reading it. Not until I understand why Harry Styles behaved like an asshole while he had someone who loved him that much.
