"Toast to the truest moments I've had with you not saying I miss them, I'm just joyful we did it."

ZOE'S POV

"Like I said babe I never break my promise and lunch it is, here we are order the whole restaurant if you want." Mike utters shooting a smirk as the arrogant man he is. "You're happy I see." I state and roll my eyes. "Always this way" He remarks "If only you knew how hurt Carl was..." "Not today Zoe" he interrupts then trails off "Not ever." He finishes quietly.

I flicker my eyes at him then decide not to start a fight. I simply stare at the menu in hand and allow my brain to go on muse zone. After a couple of minutes he inquires "What would you like to have?" "Just a second please." I say, still undecided of the expensive menu in front of me "Girls and being undecided." Mike teases and rolls his eyes. I ignore his impatient self and make my decision.

"Okay I think I'll be having RACK OF LAMB with GREEK SALAD along with CRANBERRY JUICE." I inform him. "Okay" he says and rise up his hand to signal for the nearest waiter. The waiter approaches soon. Mike orders my meal "And for the lady sir?" The waiter inquires. "Same meal" he responds. "You really want to eat the same meal as me?" I ask in amusement. "Yes. Why not?" He shrugs his shoulders and smile at me.

"Oh and add the expensive wine in the house." He informs the waiter. "Okay sir. That's all?" "That's all, thank you." I reply to the waiter before Mike decides to add something else or be rude towards the waiter. I wait for the waiter to get going before I can open my mouth.

"Wine? What are we celebrating?" I question Mike. "Do we have to celebrate anything for me to express my love for you?" He smirks, his eyes locking into mine as my cheeks heat up instantly. "Thank you so much Mike. I love you." I acknowledge him. Why am I this emotional? He moves both his hands towards mine and grips them both.

"I love you Zoe Jackson, forever." He says; his face full of affection. I sob quietly to myself, so he won't get to hear my sobbing. "Don't you dare cry." He teases, shaking his head. Well I guess that wasn't low enough. "I'm not gonna cry." I manage to say. "Shame" he says and chuckles, slowly shifting his hands from mine, still with his eyes locked on mine.

"So babe how many kids do you want?" His question out of the blue awakens me and I'm surprised by it. Never have we ever talked about kids. "I hope you're not planning to impregnate me Mike." I mumble. He laughs hard to the point where I'm tempted to join along. "I'm not stupid we're still young for that." "In that case I would say two; just a boy and a girl. A boy first so he'll be able to protect his little sister and you?" I ask him.

"I'd say ten or enough kids." He answers blankly "What?!" I exclaim in amazement. "Obviously no you dummy. Four would be good." He says and laughs "Still a lot." I voice out. "No they're good. They all have to carry on my legacy." I'm astonished by his statement "Legacy of smoking?" I joke "That's even much better, smart." He shoots a smirk and I hit his hand playfully.

"Our first child, which name would you prefer?" I question him. "Cherish" he responds. "Unique name, I like it but please enlighten me." I request to him. "A truest moment like this between the two of us is something I want us to remember for the rest of our lives through our first child because that's how we'll always be, happy." He sighs then gets access of my hand and kisses it. I can feel tears welling up behind my eyes, this time around tears of joy. I feel loved and cherished. My stomach does what its best at, embarrassing me. It rumbles loudly, Mike shakes his head and laughs quietly at me.

"And where is the fucking waiter. We've talked enough." Mike is beginning to get irritated. "Relax love, here he comes." I say as I spot him approaching our table. "Be fast, we're working with time." Mike rudely tells the waiter. "Thank you" I say throwing the waiter an apologetic expression and he looks pleased. "I'll bring the bill soon." He nods and departs.

"This food looks breath-taking and oh gosh it's too much!" I whoop excitedly. "What did you expect babe we're at The Orange restaurant, thee best in the city." He smirks, satisfied by his response. "I feel like it's dinner. It's just too much for lunch." I say sadly. "Hey don't feel bad then we call it dinner, happy now?" Mike jokes and I offer him a grin. "Thank you once again." "You're welcome."

I was astonished to find out that the bill was costing R910, 50c and to him it was no big deal 'spending that much to a person he loves' so he said.
