ZOE'S POV
I get inside the car. I feel pains as I take a seat on the passenger's seat. I really can't wait to get home and rest. "Are you sure you are okay? Can I get you anything before we leave?" Mike asks with concern filling his voice as he put the car on gear. "Yes I'm okay really." I reply. We get on the road immediately. We're both silent for a while.
"So how was it?" He brings me back to reality by asking. "Not what I expected. It was painful, not as interesting as people say it is."I admit honestly. "It is interesting trust me. First time is always painful but when you get to do it several times that's when you'll enjoy." He informs me. "But I did try to be gentle. I hope it's not that bad." He adds. "It's not that bad." I lie. I feel severe pains.
"I'm glad if you enjoyed." He continues driving and I am gazing outside the window. "Should I drop you here again not by your house?" He asks and I nod. I grab my school bag and ready to leave. As I am about to step out, he brings my face close to him and offers me a baby kiss on my cheek. I can't help myself but blush. "Thanks for dropping me." "I'll call you later, bye." He pulls off and I walk the short distance to home.
I arrive home; mom is not yet back from work. Thank God. I take a long shower then wear my simple clothes. I don't know what to do at this moment. I sit on my bed, looking straight into the mirror. I begin to get emotional. I cry out loud. I'm disappointed in myself. This wasn't part of my life plans, losing my virginity at age 16. I cry so hard.
Few seconds later I wipe my tears. I decide to read the novel AFTER. My favorite scene where by Harry and Tessa went out to spend time together for the very first time by the stream. Tessa loved Harry; she thought he was going to take her virginity by that time. Luckily he never did though he wanted so bad to do it. At least she gave her virginity away to someone she loves, Harry. By the second time they met. I do love Mike, don't I? I find closure by comparing myself to Tessa.
