ZOE'S POV

I get inside the house caring the plastic bag. I found my mom moving around the living room. "Thank God you are okay I was beginning to worry thinking something might have happened to you, what took you so long?" Mom inquires as she leaves the living room heading to the kitchen. I follow her and place the groceries on the kitchen counter. "Nothing to worry of mom, I was delayed by the paying queue at the store." I lie to her. "I'm just glad you are fine." "I'll be in my room if you need anything." I inform her and she nods.

As I walk to my room, I'm smiling all the way like a kid who just received ice cream from an adult. I enter inside my room and close the door; walking past the mirror I then take a few steps back to take a look at myself. I walk straight to my bed and immediately start jumping on it. I should stop behaving like a 12 year old for my sake I'm 16 years old, I remind myself.

I lay on my bed still thinking about him. His sexy brown eyes, not to mention those lips they are perfectly shaped and when he opens his mouth, his teeth are so leveled and very white. Although he smokes he's still a gentleman. He offered to accompany me home. I've always told myself I want a church guy who's perfect the day I'll start dating. I quickly shake off those thoughts from my mind reminding myself that he was being a nice guy who offered to walk me home, it's not like he made a move on me.

MIKE'S POV

It's a Saturday evening and I still have a little hangover from yesterday's house party. There's nothing much to do really. I decide against it not to visit my friends but go home and get some sleep. I arrive home thirty minutes later after I walked her home.

Oh her! What's her name again?
Zayn...Zoo...Zoe. I smile as I found it difficult to remember the name of the girl who just blew my mind away.

I take out my phone from the pocket to save her contact number just in case I need it sometime. I log into WhatsApp not to reply to those boring messages from girls crushing on me. I'm logging in for her, to check on her or should I say stalk her since she has no idea that I have her contact. Sadly there's nothing to show on her WhatsApp profile picture. I blame the App's settings!

I take a twenty minutes nap trying to get rid of the less remaining hangover that I have. After the nap, I wake up to check the time. Its 19:10pm and I still got nothing much to do. Studying doesn't cross my mind that's really not my style, yet I'm doing my last year in high school.

I'm tempted to call her; I stare at her number for a while. Few seconds later I'm already calling her. She picks up at the third ring. "Uhm hello." She says through the phone clearly having no idea who she's talking to. "Hi, it's Mike." "Mike from?" She asks just as I was about to answer her, she talks through again. "Wait the guy who walked me home?" Her voice is cracking through the speaker.

"No it's his twin brother." I joke. I swear I know she's already smiling, showing that one dimple. "But how did you get my contact number?"... "Don't answer. I already know." She says. "So behind that pretty face, you are smart too I see." "I'll take that as a compliment, thank you." Zoe says. "Look I admit what I did was uncalled for but I don't regret doing it since you wouldn't have gave me your digits if I were to ask for them."

"Maybe you're right." "Is it cool with you for us to be friends, I really liked your personality. You were humble and of course beautiful. I might look like trouble to you but I assure you I won't bother you nor ask a lot from you. Your  friendship is what I'm longing for." I breathe after my long speech.

"Give me time to think about it I'll text you later." "I'll be waiting for your message then, thanks goodbye." "Goodbye." She says. I then hang up. I know she's just playing around, she likes me. If that wasn't the case she wouldn't have dropped her plastic bag.
