(A/N: I started this in study hall with King_Of_The_Peacocks spectating me because yes. Also, the last chapter got me really pumped so I wanted to write more. Thanks for enjoying this!)

Your Point of View:

You shook with excitement as your sister Nikki rifled through her closet for your date outfit.

Nikki never was one for fashion, usually just wearing graphic video game and anime t's and blue jeans.

But she made an exception for you.

"What do you think the date's gonna be? A movie? A dinner date? Gah! How do relationships work?" Nikki exclaimed exasperatedly, trying to find you the perfect outfit in her limited closet.

"At dinner, he told me it was a surprise," you recalled.
She grunted something about complicated boys.

You giggled at her frustration and walked to her side. She did have a few formal or fancy outfits-as she would describe it.

She had a high-low dress with a creamy white and lacy top, the skirt flowing out in lacy beige. Casual, but cute.

She also had a turquoise strapless dress that hung a bit below the knees, with a brown braided belt. The material was rough, but wearable. Classy.

She disregarded them, which confused you, but you let her do her thing.

But this definitely wasn't her thing.

"Aha!" She exclaimed as she pulled out a cute pink and black striped sweater and faded, ripped skinny jeans. She also pulled out a pair of polka-dot converse, also pink and black.
It was remarkably cute.

And she looked so proud of herself that you let her have her moment.

"Go put these on, woman!" She shouted and shoved you into the bathroom. You sighed, putting on the article of clothing.
You looked into the mirror.
Damn, you looked good.

Walking back out, Nikki looked at you, her eyes sparkling.
"You look adorable," she said with utter sincerity and a sweet smile.

"Thanks, Nik," you reply with a dazzling smile of your own.

Nikki looked at the digital clock on her nightstand. You followed her gaze.
7:30.
Only a half an hour left before your date.
Your stomach erupted in butterflies at the thought of your Flame Brain.
Yes, your Flame Brain.

Your gorgeous (E/C) eyes snapped up to your sister, who was distracted by her thoughts, staring at nothing in general.

"Um, Nikki? You in there?" You waved a hand in front of her face. Snapping out of La-La land, she looked up at you sheepishly, with a small pink blush.

"Sorry," she mumbled.

You were about to question her more when a knock came from her bedroom door.
It can't be Leo, he'd be too early.

Nikki stood up, walked over, and swung the door open.

There stood your brother Jake, who had a slightly worried look on his face.
His brows were creased, his face attempting a scowl.

"(Y/N), I just heard someone say that you had a date." He paused to look at you with a suspicious stare. "With Valdez."

You stiffened. Jake was like Nikki, very overprotective. Nikki was just more easy-going than Jake. You were about to reply when your sister interrupted you.

"Yes, she is. Is there a problem with that?" She asked with a false innocent look. She'd always try to get you out of trouble. In all honesty, the innocent look didn't suit her.
