The Confession

LOKI'S POV

It was our last day here with the Wuul Tribe. And yesterday, I've found out that Psyche will forget us once she returned to her body.. And that she needs to go back to her body as soon as possible.

According to the teacher-in-charge, we'll be leaving the mountain at night but before that there will be a bonfire party.

I'm having mixed emotions right now. Eto yung feeling na ayokong may kumausap sa'kin dahil baka masapak ko.....

Nang biglang..

"Hey, Aki boy!! Wassup wassup there?"

I sighed.

Speaking of the devil..

"I'm not in the mood, Ri." I answered in a monotonous tone.

"I know.. That's why I'm here"

Napatingin ako sa kanya. How did he know? Oh. I see, it was Psyche for sure.

"I don't need you." I said.

"Nah. You need me. You need me to advise you on what to do."

Aalis na sana ako para mag-ayos na lang ng gamit pero natigilan ako sa sinabi n'ya.

"You need me para makapag-confess ka ng feelings mo for Psyche---"

"You shut up!!" mariin kong sabi sabay takip ng isang kamay sa madaldal na bibig nitong si Ri.

Inalis n'ya ang kamay ko at umatras palayo ng bahagya sa'kin.

"Kalma lang, Aki. Napapaghalataan e"

Akma ko sana s'yang sasapakin pero..

"I know you like her."

Natigilan ako.

"At sino ba namang hindi magkakagusto sa kanya diba? But as your cousin, I don't cross the lines. If she's your girl, then she's your girl. So kung itatanggi mo 'yun then does that mean you're allowing me to have her?" pagpapatuloy n'ya.

Hindi ako makatanggi. Is he right? Do I like that clumsy ghost?

I heard him chuckled. I don't care.

I don't care anymore.

All I care is that I'm going to confess tonight.

Ri was right. I need him to realize what I have to do before it's too late.

"I need your help, Croft", ani Loki na ngayon ay seryosong seryosong nakatingin sa'kin habang hawak ang dalawang magkabilang balikat ko.

"W-what help?" Bigla akong kinabahan dahil first time ata 'tong nangyari na si Aaron Loki e nanghihingi sa'kin ng tulong?

Bumuntong hininga s'ya. Parang kakawala sa kaba ang puso ko. Nabibingi ako sa pagpintig nito

"Tulungan mo 'kong magconfess kay Psyche tonight."

I blinked many times before I find the words to say.

"O--kay" sabi ko sabay bunghalit ng tawa.

He blushed. Inalis n'ya na ang mga kamay n'ya sa balikat ko at halatang nahihiya s'ya sa ginawa n'ya.

"Time is running, Croft. Narealize ko na hindi ako dapat magsayang ng kahit isang segundo na kasama ko s'ya. I love her, Croft. I love everything about her. And I'm so stupid for realizing it late"
