MELODY 32: Stay

Chapter 32

"Putangina mo! Na miss kita hayop ka!"

Halos masira na ang maayos kong buhok na halos kalahating oras ko pang inayos kanina nang guluhin ito ni Lian at Mady habang niyayakap ako ng sobrang higpit. Tuluyan na kaming natumba sa sahig ng dumagdag pa si Jo at ako itong nadaganan sa ilalim.

Hindi naman halata na sobrang gigil na gigil sila sa'kin.

"Hoy! Papatayin niyo ba 'yang kaibigan niyo?" Yanu helped me to get up as he pull out everyone out of me. Ramdan na ramdam ko ang sakit sa likod ko sobra. "Ako rin payakap!"

Natawa na lamang ako nang kumalas siya sa yakap. Kadarating ko lang dito sa Taft kung saan namin napag-usapan na magkita kita lahat. Kumpleto ang mga kaibigan ko at kasama pa si Justine na nakangiti lang sa'kin. After that dating issue with Lian, it's our first time to meet again and she probably feels awkward.

Umupo na kami at nakitang mukhang nakainom na sila dahil may isang bucket na ng alak sa mesa. William approached our table with another bucket and had some short chit chat with me. Taft is still Taft and I miss this place.

"Grr, you're too popular now. I can see couple of eyes watching you." Mady started to blabber beside me. I can smell her alcohol. "I'm jealous you know. You didn't hang out with us the whole summer."

I feel sad about that too, I really do. We had so much plans before but I didn't make it because of my trainings my schedule became cruel after I debuted.

"I'm really sorry. Ngayon lang ako nakaluwag sa schedule dahil wala ang partner ko." I replied opening the bottled beer in front. "So kamusta na kayo motherfuckers?"

I can see in their eyes that there are many things they want to tell me and while listening to them, I realized that I actually missed lot of moments.

Jo finally had her own condo unit and they usually hang out there since she's living alone. For how many days of running out, Mady had the guts now to focus in learning about their business.

Lian joined Kuya Elliot's photography club which I once told her to check it. She's now one of his assistant and I'm happy about that. Lian loves photography so much.

Yanu on the other hand became regular at his work and used the money that I gave him as the medicine supporter of his Dad. I also heard that Justine received an invitation from a modeling company and she should really give it a try.

During the whole summer, they visit two beaches and went to EK without me. Hindi ko maiwasang isipin na paano kung hindi ako sumikat at kasama ko pa rin sila? Masaya pa rin kaya ako tulad nila? May progression din ba akong nagawa sa buhay ko?

"I am happy if you guys are happy. Anyway, you need any help just tell me okay?"

"Jia tulong pa rin nasa isip mo. Ilang beses mo na kaming tinulungan lalo na ako." seryosong sabi ni Yanu. "Ikaw? Kamusta ka na? Hindi ka nagparamdam ng ilang linggo ah. Hindi ka rin nag-enroll."

Tumagay muna ako at bumuntong hininga. "Don't worry about me, duh! Okay lang ako. About my studies, I think I can't make it this year."

I did everything around just to leave the topic off about me. Kapag nagtatanong sila ay sinasagot ko rin sila ng tanong o di kaya'y pinipilosopo ko sila. They know nothing about what's happening around me and I don't want them to get bothered. Ngayon ko lang din napagtanto na mukhang kilala na ni Jo si Justine bilang kapatid ni Russel.
