MELODY 25: His Egg?

Chapter 25

All my life, I don't really mind someone else's life circumstances and pain because I am always busy dealing with mine. But when she told me hers, I have the curiousity sticking in me. The urge to know about her more is interesting than my life.

It was really an honor to be her ears that night. I feel like I am one of the trusted person in her life.

She said her life is cruel, damaged, incomplete, annoying and definitely not an ideal family. She told me everything, certainly everything. From what her father did, to her mother that's against to her dreams and so on.

I always thought that her strength booster is her family but no one from her parents gave her the support. Yes sure, my father is also against about my dreams but I have my mother and sister with me who believe me from the very start.

While she only got her self support before her friends does. Now I understand the reason why she's always with her friends.

Her father, how I wish they can see each other.

"Russel to Earth!"

I almost kicked Hui's balls when he exclaims suddenly in front of me. Nakangisi siyang lumayo sa'kin at dahil drumstick ang una kong nahawakan ay 'yon naibato ko sa kaniya. Kinuha ko ang light control at binuksan ng maayos ang ilaw sa loob ng studio ko.

"Sino nagsabi sayo na pwede kang pumasok dito?"

"Lashi did," he chuckled while randomly pushing buttons to the launchpad. "Alam mo ba na lumipat na si Jia dito sa building?"

"What?"

He crossed his arms after messing with controllers. "She didn't told you? Ah, I'm really her favorite. She updated me first before you."

"Should I slam that pad on your face or kick your balls out of here? You choose." I fired him a glare and without wasting a second, he's out of my sight already.

I fixed my things and stopped writing deciding to exit the studio. Naabutan kong nagtatawanan sa sala ang tatlo at kain-kain pa ni Lester ang binili kong cookies noong isang araw. They smiled at me in sync and I know they're preventing their selves the urge to laugh.

"What room?" I asked, choking Hui neck from behind.

"Wait! Don't tell me pupuntahan mo siya?" he asked gripping out from my hands. "I'll check her first!"

"Yeah but make sure to prepare aids later."

Bago pa man ako tuluyang maglakad pabalik sa studio ko ay narinig ko ang malakas na tawa nilang tatlo pagkatapos isigaw ni Hui and room number ni Jia. He walked back grumpily to his seat and kick Lashi's butt.

Lumabas ako sa unit namin pagkatapos kong magbihis at hanggang dito sa labas ay naririnig ko ang malakas na halakhak ng mga kasama ko. Dumiretso na ako sa elevator paakyat sa susunod na palapag.

I stopped in front of the door who has the same room number Hui gave me. I know that they won't pull a prank on me because it's not allowed here. I knocked three times before it finally opened and her reaction was priceless. She hit her forehead at the door as she opened it widely.

Careless as ever.

"Hi! Pasok ka."

Even if she won't tell me that I really will. A small unit for her and I guess she will be staying here alone. There's a small living room, a kitchen and a door that probably leads to her room. The interior designs are quiet simple.

"What brings you here?" she asked standing in front of me.

"Come to check on you," I replied looking  outside of her window.
