MELODY 37: Beg To Stay

Chapter 37

I am very much happy to see that Russel and his family are slowly turning into an ideal happy family. He told me that what happened was like a magic. He was not used with that personality of his father but inside him was a genuine happiness.

We made a promise together that we will visit them every weekend or even during our day off and we succesfully fulfill that for almost three weeks already.

Minsan ay kumakain kami sa labas kasama ng pamilya niya at minsan ay pumupunta kami sa iba't ibang lugar. Russel's family is treating me nicely and it warmth my heart. I even cried in front of them saying how thankful I am.

Everything now is waving fine. Hui's issue already went off and back to his work with the group. Hindi ko alam kung ilang araw ko silang hindi makikita dahil nagpaalam si Russel sa'kin kagabi na may malaki silang event. Mall shows in different places and that will surely take long time.

Sa unit ko siya natulog kagabi at halos ayaw umalis kaninang umaga. Kung hindi ko siya kinaladkad palabas sa kwarto ko ay hindi talaga siya aalis.

"Your album has the highest number of sales in just a month! Congratulations, Jia!" my manager told me, showing his iPad. "The CEO wants to throw a celebration for you."

Binitawan ko ang suot kong ballpen at inikot ang swivel chair ko sa likod kung saan siya nakaupo. "I don't want that party but if he insist I still won't go."

Hindi ko na muling narinig ang pagsasalita ni Manager Grace. She knows how it annoys me to hear the name of that CEO. Lumabas na kami sa studio at bumaba dahil may appointment ako ngayon kasama ang isang artist mula sa kabilang kompanya na gustong ako ang sumulat ng kanta niya.

Nakasalubong ko si Pachiko sa ground floor ngunit hindi ako nagabalang huminto para batiin siya o kahit ngumiti man lang. Pagkalabas namin sa building ay pinagbuksan agad ako ng makakasama naming bodyguard.

I checked my phone and opened my social media accounts. Russel dm me on IG and sent me pictures of them. Mukhang  hindi sila makakapagpahinga pagkatapos ng biyahe dahil diretso sila sa rehearsal.

"We're here."

Inayos ko na ang sarili ko at muling isinuot ang sunny shades. We agreed that we will meet in a coffee shop and let her choose which shop. Nakasunod sa'kin si Manager Grace habang ang body guard na kasama namin ay pinaghintay ko na lamang sa labas.

"Hi nice meeting you! I'm so excited to work with you." she stood from her seat and extended her hand to me.

"Nice to see you too, Qwuin. You are so pretty."

She's one the most popular singer in their company and she already made remarkables records in the music industry in just two years. Hindi na kami nagpatumpik tumpik pa at diretso na agad sa pag-uusapan namin. I started to ask her random questions about the lyrics and we both jot ideas.

My phone rang beside the table and checked the caller name. It was Lian. "Excuse me I'll just take this call."

"Sure go. I will write my other ideas here." sagot sa'kin ni Qwuin.

Tinapik ko si Manager Grace at sinenyasan na asikasuhin na muna siya. Umalis na ako sa table namin at hinanap ang banyo nila. Sakto namang walang ibang tao sa loob kaya agad kong sinagot ang tawag ng kaibigan ko.

"Oh, hello?" bungad ko ngunit walang sumagot mula sa kabila. "Hello? Hoy, Lian nandiyan ka ba?"

I looked at my phone screen and the call is not on hold. Muli ko 'yong inilapat sa tenga ko at nagsalita. "May problema ka? Magsalita ka nga."
