CHAPTER FOURTEEN - His choice

I am standing over the spot in enca set that is hidden enough to hide from Gabbi. Still in my Ybarro costume. I stared at the wall infront of me with an art of a man with mouth wide open and eyes closed. I was curious about the art painting that was hanged on the wall. I looked at the place. This is some corner that's away from the set but I can hear the voices through a wall behind me. I used that para pag ako na ung on call, makakatakbo ako.

I wanted to hide from Gabbi, I wanted to limit our meetings to avoid us from fighting on set. Okay na ung nag aaway kami kapag ihahatid ko sya or kapag nag lulunch kami. After nung nang yari sa restaurant where we decided to destress, ayoko nang makita pa nila ako makaaway ulit si Gabbi. I don't want anyone else to see my world falling apart. My world for 3 years is falling apart.

I can hear Kylie laughing behind the wall. I am glad that i still find her laughter relaxing. After the guilt Gabbi had input on me because of what I am feeling, I am supposed to avoid anything that would make me feel like Kylie is water to my deserted land.

I went out nung marinig ko na next na sa shooting si Gabbi at Ako. I walked out of the empty hall and went inside. I saw Gabbi.

Suot nya ung pambahay na costume ni Alena. Nakapatong ung kapa nya na kulay green. I guess tinupad nya yung kwinekwento nya sakin na paglagay ng gold on the edges of the cape.

He signalled me to follow her as she walk outside of the dressing area. I followed her. "Ready ka na ba? Ako oo." She said and smiled at me. Her straight hair covered her glowing eyes so I tucked it for her.

"Salamat." Sabi nya. I stared at her. I like it when we don't fight. I like it when i still see the Gabbi I fell inlove to.

We went inside the Area number 22 which is designed to be sapiro. The taping ended well and she gestured me to follow her.

"May scenes pa ata ikaw? Mauuna na ako sa dressing area." Paalam nito sakin saka dahan dahan nag lakad paalis. Tinignan ko naman sa script kung ano ung susunod kong scene para mapaghandaan ko.

Pagkatapos ng scene ay agad ako bumalik sa dressing area. Doon nakita ko si Gabbi, changed her costume. Suot na nya yung sosyal na dress at head piece nalang ung kulang. Lumapit ako saka nginitian sya.

"Boo, nag lunch ka na?" Tanong nito habang pinapatong nung stylist nya yung head piece nya. I shook my head.

"I had late breakfast eh, siguro mamaya nalang kasi masyado pa naman maaga." Tumungo sya saka narinig kong tinawag sa walkie talkie ung pangalan nya. Sya na ung susunod na kukuha ng eksena. She stood up and walk pass me. Held my hand and walked out. I observed the premises, asan na naman si Kylie? Tanong ko sa sarili.

Madalas na syang nasa sasakyan kahit malinaw na hindi nya naman dapat ikulong ang sarili nya doon. What is happening between me and Gabbi is none of her business. I sat down don sa upuan na kanina at inuupuan ni Gabbi. Rocco sat beside me and offered lunch.

"Kain na tayo pre, mas kailangan mo ng pagkain ngayon, may session tayo sa gym mamaya." Sabi nya at inabutan ako ng clear disposable food container containing rice, daing na bangus and kamatis. Sa gilid may gulay na hindi ko alam na kung ano tawag.

"Pinagtabi na kita kasi alam ko favorite mo yung daing, eh naisip ko ikuha ka na." Sabi ni Rocco saka iniwan ung pagkain sa desk kung saan ako nakaupo. Alam kong bawal kumain dito kaya tumayo ako at lumabas para kainin nalang sana to sa tent. Agaran ko naman nakasalubong si Sanya.
