"Oh, panalo na naman ako uli!" Martin says, flashing the three cards infront of us, one number 10 card, one number 3 card, and one number 5 card, amounting to 18, it beat my number 5 and Kathy's number 3.
He adds one point on a paper where our names are listed, and when you look at it, he is winning.
"Isa lang po wish ko, kausapin agad ni Kylie si Roan. Amen." Sabi nya habang nag babalasa ng cards si Kathy.
"Ang malas ko, wala kasing alak!" Kathy complains, she had the least total number of winnings compared to us, although it doesn't matter, since wala namang pustahan na naganap.
"Sabi ko naman sayo, it's okay, You guys can drink, manonood lang ako." Nag tinginan ung dalawa.
"Hindi, okay lang, Kaya mo to Kathy!" Sabi nya saka inabutan kami uli ng set of cards.
"Hindi ako iinom hanggat di pa pwede uminom si Kylie!" Kaye says, as she gives me my last card.
"Sure ka 9 months kaya mo?" Martin looks at her with full of anger. Suddenly, Kathy recognizes the weight of her words.
I clear the middle of Mart's salas, compiled all of his cards in one hand and lays down on top of it. I lay out a sigh.
Martin follows, and kathy follows. Now we are all looking at Martin's chandelier.
"Masakit pala sa mata chandelier mo no?" I say, as the bright colorful led lights catch my eyes.
"Sino ba kasi nag sabing humiga tayo ng ganto, ngayon alam ko na ang POV ng pagkain ko kada nilalagay ko sya sa lamesang to." Tinignan ko naman sya at hinampas saka tumawa.
"Abnormal ka talaga!" I say laughing.
"Bat ba tayo nakahiga kasi dito? Masakit nga sya sa mata." Kathy says, stands up and rummage through Mart's things.
"Hoy, anong ginagawa mo!" Mart says as Kathy opens every drawer.
She returns and gives us shades, we got one each.
"Oh ayan pwede na." Kathy says as we continue staring at the chandelier.
"Sa totoo lang, Kylie, Anong katangahan to?" Martin says laughing, Still can't get the hold of Idea na nakatingin kami sa chandelier kaming tatlo para kaming mga tanga.
"Tanga rin naman tayo, Mart. Kasi sinamahan natin si Kylie." Kathy says, struggling to keep her feet elongated, dahil nasa side sya, tumatama na sya sa lamesa. Umurong naman ako paunti towards Martin para may space sya.
"I don't know with you bakit nyo ko ginaya, Ako I have excuse, I got the pregnancy brain." I told the two, i am starting to grasp the fact that I am actually pregnant.
"Kung hindi man yan tanggapin ni Ruru, Andito ako." Mart says, holding my stomach. Kathy follows.
"Andito kami." Kathy says, overlaps her tiny fingers over Martin's big one. I started to cry.
"Hoy, Kathy pinaiyak mo si Kylie!" Martin says all panicky, turns his gaze on me. He inserts his big fingers behind the lens of the shades just to take my tears off.
"Anong ako, ikaw tong nag sasabi ng shit things like kung hindi tanggapin ni Ruru ung bata, Malamang iiyak yan, may pregnancy brain ng daw sya papasukan mo pa ng ganyang thoughts!" Kathy says, tries to push off Mart's fingers away from my shades. I laugh.
"Friend, Ah okay ka lang?" Kathy says, shoving Mart's fingers and hugs me as I laugh hard.
I am starting to see the thought, How will I tell Ruru? I should have notice the changes in my body, right when I started smelling the Tapa, Ruru had cooked.
