CHAPTER THIRTEEN - Past encounters elicit new ones

I opened my eyes to a bright sunny day, today is Saturday and it is nice that I will get to enjoy it. Usually kasi enca will take our saturdays since it will take so much time just to shoot one scene due to the effects needed and just for it to be synchronized. I immediately look for my phone to check the time. But as soon as I gaze towards my left, I remembered I was at Mart's house, it felt so comfortable, Akala ko I am at my parents house.

I saw the clock flashes 8, the white digitalized number. If there is a thing both me and Mart usually agrees on is that we hate analogue watches. I stood up immediately, snap on slippers and heard someone talking outside. It was too feeble for me to comprehend and for me to recognize who was talking.

I went out, saw Kathy eating grapes, when she saw me, the grape she was eating dropped to the floor alongside with her jaw upon seeing me. "Good morning kathy." I continued walking towards the sink, took my toothbrush, applied toothpaste and started brushing my teeth.

"Wait, did I - i just..." Kathy stuttered, I saw her pointing the room and switching glances between me and Mart. "Why are you coming out of Mart's room?" I was about to speak but then I remembered I was brushing my teeth so I spit some to talk.

"Ngito ko ngatulog." I said, it sounded wrong so I decided to wash my mouth, it is hard to speak when you have toothpaste bubbles inside your mouth. "Dito ko natulog." I repeated and washed my toothbrush. I looked at her from head to toe, saw her wearing her office clothes, but what caught my attention is that grape beside her shoe.

"Pick up that grape, hindi nag lilinis yan si mart so pick up your waste..." I reprimanded her and sat down. She was shocked, i was waiting for her to sit down but she stayed standing up.

"At bakit ka natulog dito?" She continued then slammed her fingers and palm on the table. "Malapit sa set ng enca to, may kasama ako kesa bahay ko wala. Tapos pinag drdrive ako ni mart so ok na." She switched her gaze from me to Mart.

"At ikaw lalaki, pinayagan mong matulog dito si Kylie? At sa kwarto mo pa?" Kathy continues, slowly approaching Mart.

"Nag palit kami, I told him, sa couch muna sya. My body needed a soft bed since super dami ng fight scenes ko kahapon." Sabi ko dito kay Kathy. She again dropped her jaw at bumalik ang tingin kay Martin.

"At pinayagan mo naman?" Tanong nya dito, pilit na tinignan kami ni Kathy, palagay ko ay inaalam nya kung kanino bang sagot ung gusto nyang sabihin, kung sagot ba na ikakatahimik ni Kathy, or sagot na totoo.

"Okay, stop the creepy stare, mukhang papatayin ako ng mata mo Kathy. Nag lilinis si Kylie so pinayagan ko na sya." Sabi nya saka tinuro ako gamit ang palad nya. Dahan dahan akong kumuha ng grape at nung isusubo ko na to, tinapik ni Kathy yung kamay ko kaya nalaglag ung grape na dapat ko isusubo.

"Don't eat my grape, wala kang karapatan." Tumawa naman ako saka sumagot. "Hoy, ang babaw mo naman. Grabe Martin oh, pinag dadamot nya yung grape." I said trying to take one again.

"Ako, mababaw, sino kayang nag susumbong ngayon?" Sagot ni Kathy saka tumawa si Martin.

"Bat ba issue to, gusto mo dito kadin matulog." Sabi ko saka inabot ung grapes ulit nung hindi pa sya nakatingin saka sumubo ulit.

"Hooooy, baka nakakalimutan mo, may jowa ako at syempre nung kwinento kong dito ako natulog, it didn't sound good, it is frown upon kaya itigil nyo na to." Sabi nya saka dinampot ung bag nya at panandaliang gumamit ng cellphone.
