((I'm sorry in advance if you don't celebrate Christmas, and I know it's not remotely around Christmas time, but I had the idea to right this. Also there will be a small mention of Drarry in this one.))

Snow was gently falling around you as you and your boyfriend of three years, Teddy Lupin, apparated to his family's front doorstep. It was the day before Christmas and you were more than delighted when you were invited over to the potter's for the holiday- along with Teddy of course. You didn't really feel like spending Christmas with your family anyway, especially since the last time you went home, with Teddy at your side. Your parents didn't like him at all, you didn't particularly know why because he did nothing wrong but after words were said between the three of you, you just left. But the Potter's were different. Harry loved you like his own daughter, and Draco did too, Lily, Albus, and James were like your siblings, and you loved them. You were carrying your luggage in your right hand and your other hand was holding Teddy's, as he swung the door open.

You smiled slightly as you entered the house, it was warm and there was the smell of food drifting in from the kitchen. It made you shiver slightly because of you warming up from the cold. Teddy practically grinned over at you before dropping his luggage by the door, after closing it, and leading the both of you towards the living area where you saw your real family chatting in the living area, with a beautifully decorated tree in the corner. Teddy's godfather, Harry was sitting on his couch quietly laughing at something, his husband Draco, said. Like i've told you before, the two of them are father figures to you, more Draco than Harry but that's not the point. Next to them were Draco's best friend, Pansy and her girlfriend, Hermione who just so happens to be Harry's best friend also, but you already know that. They were like your mother type figures for you, I guess you feel closer to Hermione but your close with both of them.

"Hey, you're here!" Harry exclaims in you and Teddy's direction, being the first out of the four adults to see you. He stood up from his spot on the couch and clapped Teddy's shoulder in a friendly-father son-type of way i guess.

"Hi Harry," Teddy says for the both of you, making you smile slightly at them.

"Well if it isn't my favourite Hufflepuff's." Draco says, also standing up from the couch and walking over to where you were.

"Ooh well if it isn't my favourite snake." You reply with a slight smile and rolling your eyes, as you hug him. You weren't really one to hug people but Draco, Hermione, Little Lily, and Teddy were mostly the only exceptions you make.

"Hey! I thought I was your favourite Snake." Pansy complains, not bothering to stand up from her spot next to Hermione.

"Yeah well...Sorry," You say in a not so sympathetic tone, making Teddy and Hermione to chuckle slightly.

"I'm going to go put our stuff away." Teddy says before giving you a peck on the lips and letting go of your hand so that he could pick up your luggage from next to the door. You nod at him and watch him disappear up the stairs with a smile lighting up your features, before sitting on the armchair that was closest to the christmas tree.

The rest of the night was spent with you attempting and failing to get Teddy to sing the christmas song, "I want a hippopotamus for christmas" by Gayla Peevey with you, as Draco and Harry did their best at Dancing to it. Eventually you got Teddy to sing a verse with you, even though he wasn't too psyched about it. But Teddy was really happy to sing with you, it's just that he is really nervous about giving you you're present tomorrow. The present he is going to give you isn't-wait! I'm not supposed to tell you what it is! You'll just have to wait, until Teddy gives it to you.

The light streaming through the window made your eyes flutter open the next morning with a smile, you kind of wanted to be mad that you forgot to close the curtain last night but you just couldn't be mad today. It's Christmas! One of your favourite holiday's of the year! You groan quietly as you stretch before realizing that Teddy's arm was laying on or maybe wrapped around your waist and you felt a light blush creep up onto your face. The two of you have been dating for three years but you found that Teddy still had this effect on you, which sometimes you playfully complained about. With a light blush still on your cheeks you turned over to where you were facing him, and your smile grey softer at the sight. His hair was practically covering his closed eyes, his breathing was steady and his lips were parted slightly, he looked truly at peace.
