Smart Pikachu

Suggested by: lemon_boy_135 - A kamideku where Denki is secretly really smart but insecure and only izuku knows and is trying to get Denki to get rid of his 'I'm dumb but happy and ok with that' mask

Kaminari has been a genius his entire life. It was cool and good, at least for a while, but then people started to use him to cheat. By the middle of elementary school, he didn't have any actual friends, everybody was his 'friend' because they wanted something from him.

He and his family moved suddenly due to his Mom getting a promotion at her job. When Denki started at his new school he decided to lie about him being smart. He started acting dumb in fount of others, he was going to start perposly failing assignments too, but he didn't really want to sacrifice that much, so he convinced his teachers to give him fake report cards and graded assignments to show the other kids. Denki's parents okayed this, they knew being smart and not having actual friends was bad for Denki so they decided to let him try this.

Denki has been acting like a moron for years at this point. Its literally second nature for him, and he's 'happy' the way he is, at least until Izuku sees his actual report card by mistake.

He's about to freak out and question Denki (Infrount of their classmates), but Denki quickly puts his hand over his mouth before dragging him out of the room.

Deki boxes Izuku in against a wall, panic on his face, "Please don't tell anyone!" Denki beggs.

"Kaminari-kun, your really smart! Why are you hiding it like that!" Izuku asked, Denki had the best grades in class, even higher than Momo! It was insane that Denki would be purposely playing dumb.

Denki proceeds to tell Izuku about his childhood before and after the move, and about how 'happy' he is about playing dumb and having friends.

Izuku looked at him, he could tell a convincing lie when he heard one, considering he had live one most of his life. A secret for a secret he supposes. 

Izuku tells Kaminari that he understands what its like to be alone, he tells Kami about him being a 'late bloomer' and how he didn't have actual friends as a kid either.

The two start hanging out more and more, the others found it odd at first, but quickly shrugged it off. Both are naturally charismatic and good at making friends its no surprise that they would be drawn together.

Izuku is still trying to convince Kami to tell the truth. Kami is slowly starting to get widdled down.

It gets esspecily hard for him to keep saying no as the two get closer and closer, until they are unofficially dating.

That started when Denki decided to take the jump nd kiss Izuku, Izuku was  surorisd to say the lease because he always though Denki was into girls, considering all the flirting, but hey he wasn't gonna complain.

After a while of them dating Kami finally says ok to showing off how smart he actually is, but Izuku has to be the one to announce that their dating.

Everyone is surprised when Denki raisdhis hand along side Momo for an exreamly hard question, many give him confused looks, but when asked to answer Kami aces it  and even goes into more detail about it than nessicary, shocking everyone. Izuku is grinning like an ideot on the other side of the room, he very proud of his Pikachu.

After that lesson Kami is about to be swarmed by his classmates, but Izuku gets to him first. He starts littering Denki's face with kisses, causing everyone to have a small area out (An Mineta to be a dick before getting punted out of a window cutecy of Ojiro)

This the announcement of KamiDeku being a sailing ship and the truth about Kami being smart. After the admitence Kami starts helping the Bakusquad study and their grades go up dramaticly.
