'The Chase'

A (Nontraditional) A/B/O AU

Secondary genders exist, but they are just that. Secondary genders. They (Usually) play almost no role in people's lives unless their quirk somehow links with it (I.e. certain animal mutations) and even then it's controllable.

Izuku and Katsuki get hit by a quirk that is supposed to turn their quirks into sentient beings (separate people in a way), but it was an uncontrolled blast that was boosted by Trigger

Instead of effecting their quirks, it affected their secondary genders.

Izuku's Omega is Yamikumo. He's snarky, sarcastic, can be very rude, and loves to cause trouble and fight.

Katsuki's Alpha is Gogo. He's very sweet, excitable, friendly to a fault, and enamored by Yamikumo.

Yamikumo does not reciprocate Gogo's feelings.

It is a shock to class 1-A and the staff that Izuku and Katsuki's Omega and Alpha are so different from their actual personality.

Katsuki explains that once they WERE like their secondary genders, but Izuku kept rejecting him and never reciprocated his feelings. Katsuki ended up becoming bitter, not at Izuku exactly, but at Mikumo and Gogo (Especially Gogo)

Izuku explains that he still has the urge to fight like all the time, its one of the reasons he throws himself into danger. He also does still love to cause mayhem, but that's unbecoming of a hero so he forced himself to stop acting like Mikumo.

The quirk will wear off after about a month, then Mikumo and Gogo will return to being purely internal instincts in the shape of voices that are meant to guide.

The real question is: Will Gogo win over Mikumo while they are living beings, or will he continue to chase after something he'll never catch?

This fic would be pretty short. I would probably try to make it about 10-15 chapters
