'Not You, Not Me'

Ok, so I just watched this TikTok and in it Bakugou and Izuku were both at the Overhaul fight.

Overhaul, being the absolute cunt he is, uses his quirk and fuses them together traumatizing Eri and Mirio, as well as making the two of them an unstable being.

So, that's what I'm basing this off of.

After Mirio defeats Overhaul he gets Eri and 'Them" out and to Aizawa. His quirk can't undo what overhaul did to them and so they are going to try to force him to use his quirk to separate them.

Unfortunately, the league get to Overhaul first and instead of just taking his arms off they kill him, making the effects of the quirk irreversible.

Izuku and Katsuki only share a physical body, their minds are separate, but connected. This entire time (about an hour or so) they've been freaking out in their own way, Izuku having almost constant panic attacks and Katsuki's anger taking over and him having a fit of uncontrolled rage. This combination makes their physical body shut down in a way, they are still conscious and everything,  but neither of them have control.

The way I'm going to have this work is they have to either agree on an action before its preformed (ie. Walking, picking something up, ect.) Or one of them willingly gives up control for a period of time.

Overtime they will have to learn to cooperate and get along to be able to function, because as of now, and possibly forever, there is no way to separate them.

Now theres a few ways I can do this:

1. I can eventually separate them and they will go back to their normal lives, but be better friends and have an extreme understanding of each other.

2. I can give them the option of separating, but they refuse because they've gotten so used to being this fusion and personally don't want to go back.

3. As they slowly start getting along their consciousnesses will start fusing as well, creating an almost entirely new person with the combined memories and personalities of Izuku and Katsuki. (I have a fic similar to this one in my drafts already, but it's a Shigaraki and Izuku fusion and it also doesn't happen the same way - that fic is called 'Black and White Make Moraly Grey')

I do also want to mess with something here. I want Izuku and/or Katsuki to be in a separate (romantic) relationship before they got fused, so I can also have the layer if their partner(s) struggling with this.

I don't think I want to do KiriBaku, I love the ship, but I use it a lot and I want to try something new. I also don't know about Izuku's partner, if I give him one before the fusion. Shindeku is my OTP, but I could go with something else. I'm not really feeling Tododeku so that's out.

Idk I'll figure it out, feel free to leave suggestions/ideas.
