Haha- I made myself sad again

An AU where Izuku essentially brainwashed himself into thinking the abuse he goes through because if his quirklessness is normal.

(Izuku doesn't go to UA, he and bakugou stopped going to the same school in elementary)

Izuku being bloodied, bruised, and has a broken arm from his bullies, but he just stands up spits out the blood and smiles at the people asking if he's ok.

"Of course I am!" The bloodied boy said cheerfully, "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because you're bleeding and have a broken arm!" ___ shouted, how is this guy not phrased by what happened.

Izuku blinks at the person, "Oh, this? This is normal, actually this is a lot less than what I get normally."

This guy just admitted to getting the shit beat out of him on a regular basis like its fucking normal, "I- How do you think this is normal?"

Izuku blinked at the person again before he giggled. The sound was too joyous for the situation, "Well, because I'm quirkless!" He said, "I'm supposed to be treated like this!"

___'s heart sank at hearing that. This kid was no older than thirteen and yet he though that just because he was quirkless it justified people beating him until he was black and blue.

"Kid, it doesn't matter if your quirkless, you still should be treated like this, let alone be used to it!"

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked tilting his head a bit, the blood that was running down his face changing direction slightly, "If I'm not meant to be treated like this then they wouldn't do it, or someone would've stopped it."

"And nobody has, so this is normal."

This kid was completely locked into this toxic mindset. Who did this to this kid? Who th he fuck is responsible for teaching a child that being abused is fucking normal?

Yeah I always come up with this stuff when I'm sad.

Anyway, I'm thinking about making this a LOV adopts Izuku fic, but they aren't going to train him to be a villain, in fact they help him train to be a hero ayse the cinnamon roll deserves to follow his dreams.

Like- just the LOV changing sides, but not changing sides, even AFO.

Dad for one? I think so.

Give me suggestions for this.
