Veiled Serenity

ShinDeku fantasy AU

Shinsou is a half siren and a mercenary for hire. He does assassinations, steals for people, among other things.

By all means he is a criminal, one that is wanted, but no one knows how he actually looks because he covers his face and uses spells to temporarily change his hair and eye colors.

He ends up getting signaled to meet up with someone for a job. When he gets there he is immediately on edge because the person who he was apparently meeting is the dragon prince, Bakugou Katsuki.

The half-siren sat down across from the prince, ready to whipe his memory and run if need be.

"Its about time you got here." The blond said impatiently. Bakugou reached under the table before carelessly throwing a bag onto the table, the sound of metal coins clinking together sounded from inside, "That is six hundered platinum."

Hitoshi choked on his own saliva at that number. Six. Hundred. Platinum. That's enough for Hitoshi to buy a small  kingdom, "I- What?"

Katsuki took a deep breath, "I need you to protect someone. Someone very important to me." He said slowly, "I know that this isn't the kind of thing that you do, Moon, but you are nearly untraceable and that's the kind of protection I need to be provided. If that amount isn't enough I'll pay more."

Hitoshi's heart thudded in his chest, adrenaline running through his veins at the prospect, 'He'll pay more?! Who the hell is he wanting me to protect?'

Hitoshi swallowed thickly, the sound nearly audible to the other at the table, "Who am I protecting and why? And exactly how much more are you willing to pay?" He asked slowly.

"I'm willing to pay nearly half of my personal savings." The blond said, "As for who I need you to protect, I can't tell you that, it's to dangerous to. All I can tell you is that they are apart of another royal family and they are in extreme danger."

"...Make it twelve hundred platinum and we have a deal." Hitoshi decided. This wasn't something he'd ever done before, he's a killer and a thief, but the money hell get from this is more than he could ever imagine.

"Done." Katsuki replied, a mixed sigh of relief and exhaustion.

And just like that, the deal was sealed. Hitoshi didn't have any idea as to what he just got himself into.

So Izuku in this fic is royalty, but not in the traditional is a prince of a kingdom way. Izuku is royalty by nature's standards.

Basically in this AU Izuku is a Unicorn, but he can take a humanoid form, like most mythical creatures can in this world. (I haven't decided on if I should have Eri with him or not or have her be the eventual ShinDeku Child).

Unicorns are powerful healers, they are also extremely rare, being that they were captured and killed to near extinction.

So this is basically going to be Shinsou and Deku travelling around trying to keep a low profile and avoid anyone who is trying to capture Izuku.

Katsuki and a few other royals are working on combining a territory for Izuku to start being an actual royal for a kingdom, this kingdom is going to be surrounded by allies as a way to protect it.
