Folding your clothes, you carried your basket of laundry on your hips, as you stared up at the sky. Shielding your eyes from the sun, you watched as the clouds slowly drift by. Turning away, you walked into your small cottage.

Placing your basket of laundry on the table, you grabbed another basket, for food shopping down town. Opening your door once again, you quickly snatched your umbrella, before heading out.

Walking the path you ventured on millions of time, the thriving scenery of people enjoying themselves never get old. Children laughing and playing, adults and elders doing their businesses, everytime you walked down town.

A small smile etched your lips, until you spotted a strange man. Tilting your head, you simply just shrugged him off, since he possibly was here for supplies, as from the many bags he had.

Walking past him, you were immediately stopped on your tracks, as a gush of wind passed you. Looking up at the sky, you spotted gray clouds rolling in. Eyes narrowing, you tightly gripped your umbrella, before quickly pacing to grab your essential items.

As you were walking, you noticed the strange man was also heading the same direction. Ignoring him, you looked straight ahead, until you spotted the store you were going to. Pacing faster, you immediately opened the door, as the chimes chimed to your arrival.

"Evening, L/n-san! I'll get your usual right away!"

Smiling, you nodded at the owner, as they went to the back of the shop to grab your usual.

Tapping your foot impatiently, you glanced out a window, and noticed the clouds getting darker. Gripping your basket, you heard the owner return. As they handed you your item, you gave them a bow and paid, before leaving.

Exiting the shop, you looked up at the sky, just as a droplet of water hit your nose. Frowning, you held your basket closely to you, before heading back towards your cottage.

You noticed the stalls were already packed up and empty, leaving the street bared and lonely. There wasn't anyone out. Feeling scared, you began nearly sprinting back home, until you slipped, nearly twisting your ankle.

Falling onto the cold, wet pavement, your basket rolled a few feet away as your item that was in, flew out getting more drenched.

Biting your lip, your shoulder shook in fear. Before you can even get up, you heard rushing footsteps approaching you. Looking over your shoulder, you saw the strange man from earlier.

"Miss, are you alright!? You're not hurt are you!?"

Looking up at the man, your heart jumped. Face flushed, you simple stared at him in a daze, as he stared back.

"Miss?"

Nodding slowly, you shakily stood up, as your clothes hung loosely on you. Back turned to him, you stumbled a bit, but felt a pair of lean, strong arms wrap around you for support.

Heart pumping faster, you graciously nodded, as he helped you get your basket and item.

Placing it in the basket, he held it,"I'll take you home, just tell me where, miss."
