"When everything feels like it's falling apart it's actually falling into place" ~Aiyla

Cairo, Egypt

Jamaal had never felt soo lost before, the love between his sister and best friend is something that makes him happy yet now, he sees and talks to two almost dead people with feelings for each other but a stupidity to not inform the other

He looked at his phone, the last message Na'im had sent to him seven days ago at midnight, just a message and he felt his heart break for him

Na'im: she walked away with every part of me yet I can't blame her for it, I love her and she knows it. Take care of my heart for me pls. Take care of someone I can't because of my stupidity......

He hasn't heard from him since then, he had cut contact with them all

"Ruha" she looked up, her eyes were carrying their usual misery, it had reduced yet now its back in full force "let's go out for ice cream and a walk"

She nodded, he drove to the parlor close to the park and got it then drove to the park. They went down moving around enjoying the chattering of innocent unhurt children around them and Jamie smiled, one day he'll have that with Muna in sha Allah, their own bundle of innocence

A kid walked up with two roses in his hands, a white and blue one, he handed it to Ruha and ran off. Ruha was confused but he wasn't, Na'im is in Egypt, he led her to where Na'im was then disappeared from her sight, Na'im will take care of her

He looked back once scanning the surrounding, there were guards all around camouflaging with the people, there will always be guards surrounding Na'im and now Ruha is also in the security detail she knew nothing of. They both had rough childhoods, scarring ones and they were surrounded by kids living the life they wished to live but well everyone had a test of his. He slipped into his car mummering a silent prayer for them

She knew he was there the minute she saw the roses, she was done running, done being scared, its the moment of truth, their future depends on it and she wanted a future she'll be proud of, if Na'im wasn't meant to be a part of it then so be it, it was Allah's way of telling her someone better will enter her life but she knew deep down, a part of her has been found in her Sultan

She continued walking scanning her surrounding for him trying to determine where he was and when she saw him, she knew it. He looked resolved about it all, everything

She scanned him, he looked like the definition of suffering and oppression, like he hasn't slept for a while

She tilted her head, just watching, calming herself down, trying to ease the wild beat of her heart

He approached her, his steps leveled, everything neutral, his face didn't give out anything yet it gave out everything and when he stopped in front of her, looking soo breathtaking and tall, it was like it all came to a standstill

"As Salaamu alaykum (peace be to you)" he said, his Brit accent entwining with his Arab accent

"Waalaykumu salaam (And peace be onto you too)" she replied, happy her voice didn't shake a bit even if she was dead nervous

"I'm sorry" he blurted looking down, his messy curls falling too "I was being unreasonable and plain stupid, I'm sorry for everything hayaati"

"I'm sorry too for everything"

He nodded "we need to talk" she nodded in agreement "I meant what I told you that night hayaati, you mean the world to me and I love you soo freaking much" she smiled "soo much I became a walking dead without you, soo much I couldn't think, sleep or eat well when I thought I lost you, you are my everything Ruha, my hayaati, my love, my angel, my anchor, in sha Allah my other half and soulmate.... I love you Ruha Ismail, now and forever in sha Allah" he smiled "will you do me the honour of being my wife, of being the person who completes my faith?"

A stunned silence, she was moved to tears "of course and I love you too"

It became all smiles, they stood surrounded by kids who are living their childhood, kids not hunted by memories, kids whom they wished they could swap lives with but they had accepted it as part of their story... Its not gonna be easy, the ride ahead is not gonna be smooth but they are together and that's what matters now
