After the long drive from Disney and adrenalin pumping rides Jake was laid out in the back of Marcus's SUV with his Mickey Mouse ears on surrounded by all of our gift shop trinkets and stuffed animals. I smiled at Jakes sleeping face.
I looked at Marcus who was smiling at me through the rear view mirror. She smiled back and he knew he was accepted.
