"Well did you take a DNA test?"
"I don't need to."
"Leena you're acting like we never had sex."
She paused. "You want this baby to be yours don't you?"
"I would rather the baby be mine, yes."
"Well, I'm seven weeks. I haven't been with you in over two months."
"You don't seem too thrilled about this at all."
She sighed. "It is what it is. He doesn't want this baby."
"What?"
"He doesn't care if I get an abortion or not."
I wished I was there with her to show her that somebody cared.
"Have your told your mom? Didn't the clinic call and tell her?"
"No. I gave them Ms. Bonny's number."
"You're not thinking about an abortion are you?"
She was silent.
"Leena?"
"I don't know what I'm going to do right now." She sobbed. "he doesn't want this baby and I can't do this by myself Toni."
Listening to her cry I felt helpless. So I could only imagine how she felt. "Well, if he doesn't want to take care of his responsibilities you don't have to worry Na-Na. I'll take care of you and the baby. Okay?"
She continued to cry.
