I grabbed the balloons , flowers and card as I walked towards the hospital wiping my tears .
I definitely felt like I shoulda been there in that moment for True but instead I wasn't .
I went up to his room seeing him just laying there and his daddy was sitting there . We hadn't really met , I spoke but that was it .
"Wassup." He nodded .
"Hey." I gave him a tight lipped smile as I set the balloons , flowers and card down . "How he doing?"
"They said he should only be in a coma for a week but he start showing signs that he was conscious today."
"Aw for real?" I smiled .
"Yea I guess he opened his eyes a little when Liko , Ziyir and Kaci was up here."
I nodded sitting down , "That's good , I hope he will get up sooner than later but why they wanna take him back to jail so quick?"
"I don't know , I guess they found drugs in him but it was only lean so I talked to his probation officer and asked if she would just let him off this time but she said he would definitely be in there for a couple weeks if he do good in there he'll be out sooner."
"Don't he still got bullets in him?"
"They got the bullet out his stomach , ain't that where he got shot at? Yea he stomach." He nodded . "Then one out his leg left fragments , but only a couple then he got one in there that has to travel a little more before they can take it out."
"And they can't wait for it to travel before they lock him up." I shook my head . "Wow."
"So how you meet him?"
"Uh." I laughed . "When he first got out he came around cause I be with Kamille and Azora , Azora my cousin." I said . "When he came around it went from there but we only really got closer because he had put his bare feet up on me and I pushed it off and the table fell on it." I made the 'yikes' face .
