"I'm almost done." I nodded as I typed on my computer .
"Okay , can I get a snack?" Moonie asked .
"Yea."
She walked off and I continued typing for my assignment before I got done finally .
"What you doing?" True came in before kissing my forehead .
"Tryna see if I got any more assignments , I think I'm done." I said before closing my computer. "What's that?" I pointed to the bag he had .
"Oh." He sat it down . "Nothing."
"Da'Jour , what is it?" I grabbed it and he turned around real quick but I opened it before he could grab it from me . "Guns? Really?"
"Zayla I-"
"You wanna go back to jail? Huh? Cause that's what it look like . You on probation , the smoking I'm letting it fly but you bringing guns into my house?"
"Zayla , how I'm supposed to protect y'all? I need these." He frowned .
"You need one , that's all . Maybe two but a whole bag full? That's a lot . You need to get out of this shit and do something with yo self."
"I'm slowly doing it , he letting me go once I do something for him and I'm done Fasho." He nodded sitting down .
"What you mean? What you gotta do?"
"Don't worry about all that , I'm not going back to jail okay?"
"Da'Jour." I sat down next to him. "You say that every time you bout to go back to jail , you like missing out on D'Aire Da'Miya growing up?"
"What? No but if they snatch me up for some shit , what choice do I got?"
"Stop doing things to get snatched up then , it ain't hard to get ou-"
"Once you in it , you in it for life . It is hard to get out but I'm doing it for you."
"No , you need to not be doing it for me and do it for yourself." I frowned . "If we break up again, and you was only doing it for me, what you gone do once I'm gone?"
"Go right back." He said .
"Exactly , so you got a month to get it together or it's not gone work. Cause it seem like everytime I look up, you getting locked up."
