Cassandra walked into her father's office. He had wanted to talk to her about something unknown to her. She wasn't sure if she had gotten in trouble or not already. It was only a little over a month since school had started.
Cassandra knocked on his door. Professor Snape told her to come in. She walked in and sat down in the chair.
"I've heard that you have talked to Jack Dawson." Snape said.
"Yes I have." Cassandra replied.
"What did you talk to him about?" Snape asked. "Surely not cheating and getting into the tournament."
"Why would you think I want to be in the tournament?" Cassandra asked. "I've already been through enough crap! Why would I want to risk my life even more?"
"Cassandra, do not raise your voice at me. If you didn't talk about the tournament, what did you talk about?"
"Nothing."
"Tell me now."
"We talked about something Remus Lupin asked me to pass on. Nothing else."
"Better not be anything else. You are excused now."
Cassandra huffed as she stood up to leave. She walked out the door and headed down the corridor.
"Why did you just come out of Snape's office?" A voice asked her. "Did you get in detention already?"
"I'm not a troublemaker, Diggory." Cassandra chuckled. "I don't go looking for trouble, trouble finds me."
"I hope you know that I don't believe you." Cedric replied, a smirk on his face.
"Believe me or not, I don't care."
"How's your school year going?"
"It's pretty okay," Cassandra replied, looking down at her feet. "Not as stressful as last year since I dropped some classes."
"That's good, I'm glad to hear it." Cedric smiled. The two started walking down the hallway.
"How's your school year going?" Cassandra asked.
"Pretty okay," Cedric answered. "I think I'm going to put my name in the cup to impress this girl."
"You shouldn't do it just because you want to impress some girl." Cassandra said. "You should do it because you want to."
"Well, I do want to, but a part of it is to impress this girl." Cedric smirked.
"Alright, if that's what you want to do." Cassandra shrugged.

Today was the day students from Beauxbatons and Drumstrang would arrive. Cassandra couldn't contain her excitement as her and her friends headed to the Great Hall.
"Isn't this exciting?" Cassandra exclaimed. "We get to meet people from other schools! I hope they feel welcome here."
"Yes, Cas, this is very exciting," Ron grumbled. "It's totally not like we've heard you talk about this for the entire day."
"I'm sorry. It's just exciting!" Cassandra apologized. "I've been kept away from most kids for a long time and now I'm getting to meet more."
They sat down in the Great Hall and listened to Dumbledore say a few words before mentioning the tournament.
"Please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and their headmistress, Madame Maxime!" Dumbledore exclaimed.
The doors of the Great Hall burst open and beautiful women in blue outfits came strolling in. Behind them, was a woman larger than Hagrid. She was beautiful. The Beauxbaton ladies walked up the aisle and curtseyed every few steps.
Cassandra felt every boy looking at the girls in awe and she knew why. Most girls that went to Beauxbatons were veelas. Cassandra used to wish she was part veela because they were so pretty but she soon began to love herself for the way she looks.
The boys started clapping for the Beauxbaton girls. Most of the boys were enchanted by them and Cassandra rolled her eyes at the way Harry and Ron were acting.
"And now our friends from the north. Please welcome the proud sons of Drumstrang and their headmaster Igor Karkaroff."
Boys burst in through the doors, banging their staffs on the ground. They were doing tricks of all sorts. Cassandra was more curious in how they did their tricks than enchanted by their looks. Viktor Krum walked through the doors and Ron's jaw automatically dropped.
"Blimey!" Ron exclaimed. "It's Viktor Krum!"
"Ron, you might want to close your mouth. I already see some flies flying into it." Cassandra joked.
Ron shut his mouth but still looked at Krum with great interest. The Great Hall rang out in a series of claps again and this time Cassandra clapped more enthusiastically. She couldn't wait to get to know the people from Drumstrang and Beauxbatons.

"I met the most wonderful little girl from Beauxbatons!" Cassandra exclaimed to her friends as they walked into the Gryffindor common room. "Her name is Gabrielle! She's so wonderful. She speaks French more fluently than she speaks English so it's good that I speak a little bit of French!"
"I'm glad to see you so happy." Hermione smiled. "You've been a little down lately."
"It's because of Padfoot, you know." Cassandra's smile faltered.
Hermione pulled Cassandra into a hug.
"Well, it's a good thing you have us to talk to." Ron said.
The four of them sat by the fireplace, cracking jokes. Ron had gotten out all the candy he had brought from their trips to Hogsmeade. Cassandra didn't eat much of the candy but she was glad that Ron tried to cheer her up.
