"We thought you had gone to the forest." Ron said as Harry and Cassandra found him and Hermione.
"We're going there now." Cassandra said.
"Are you two mad?" Ron asked. "No. You can't give yourselves up to him."
Harry and Cassandra stopped walking, wanting to say goodbye to their friends.
"What is it?" Hermione asked. "What is it you know?"
"There's a reason we can hear them." Cassandra said. "The Horcruxes. I think we've known for a while and I think you have too."
"I'll go with you." Hermione said, starting to cry.
Ron looked at the twins, his face expressionless.
"No." Harry said. "Kill the snake. Kill the snake and then it's just him."
Cassandra and Hermione hugged while Harry and Ron hugged. The twins walked down the stairs, holding each other's hands. They went into the forest when Harry abruptly stopped. He took out the snitch and looked at it.
"I'm ready to die." Harry said before blowing on the snitch.
The snitch opened up in Harry's hands and the resurrection stone came out. Harry looked at Cassandra then back at the stone. He picked up the stone before passing it to Cassandra. She closed her hand and her eyes. When she opened her eyes, Lily, James, Remus and another boy unknown to Cassandra stood there.
Harry walked up to Lily and wanted to hold her hand but his hand went right through hers.
"You both have been so brave." Lily said to her children.
"Why are you here?" Harry asked. "All of you?"
"We never left." Lily replied.
"You're Jonathan, aren't you?" Cassandra asked the unknown boy.
"Yes." Jonathan replied. "I'm technically your uncle."
"Does it hurt, dying?" Harry asked Jonathan.
"Quicker than falling asleep." Remus replied.
"You're nearly there kids." James said.
"We're sorry." Cassandra said. "We never wanted any of you to die for us. And Remus, your son."
"Others will tell him what his mother and father died for." Remus said. "One day, he'll understand."
"You'll stay with us?" Harry asked.
"Until the end." James said.
"And he won't be able to see you?" Cassandra asked.
