Iman's POV

I woke up then turned and spread my arm out to wrap it around Mani but I didn't feel her on the bed. I open my eyes and see that she's not laying next to me. I pull off the blankets and get out of bed. I walk to the washroom and brush my teeth. I head towards the living room and see her talking on the phone with someone.

I woke up to the phone ringing and slowly got out of bed and made my way to the living room. I answered the phone. It was Jess on the line.

As I spoke to her I heard footsteps coming from the bedroom.

"OK, yeah sounds good." I said as I looked up at Nikki.

He sat down on the ground as shadow ran into his lap and snuggled up to him.

"Alright, bye thanks." I hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" He asked with curiosity.

"That was Jess, she said dinner will actually be at six. She also says Merry Christmas."

He gets off the ground and walk towards me.

"Merry Christmas." He says as he placed several kisses on my lips. "Mm I love you."

"Merry Christmas." I muffled and kissed him back. "Love you too."

"How'd you sleep?"

"I didn't. It's cold."

"Well that's why I wrapped my arms tightly around you. You were shivering." He smiled. "Uh, I gotta take shadow out so he could do his business."

"Yeah go ahead, I'm going to make breakfast." I get up and walk into the kitchen.

He got up and grabbed shadows collar walking him towards the door. When he's done taking Shadow out he comes back in and starts jumping all over me.

"Nikki can you please get your dog away from me!" I hollered with annoyance as his dog jumped up and down around me. "I'm trying to eat!"

"Mani shadow is not going to hurt you, he's a nice dog." He says as he walks into the kitchen while I'm putting sugar in my cereal.

"Well I'm trying to eat, and I don't want him bothering me." I groaned.

He rolled his eyes and picked up shadow taking him into another room. He walked back into the kitchen then grabbed a bowl and poured himself some cereal.

"You're not going to wash your hands?"

He look up raising a brow giving me a death glare. I smiled sheepishly then turned away not saying anything.

"What's with you and dogs anyways?" He asked pouring milk into his cereal.

"Nothing, I just don't really like them around me." I shrugged. "I like to look at them just not touch them. And I don't really want them touching me."
