Cassy
I blinked twice and became much more aware of the situation we were both in. Just by then, a sharp pain shot through the back of my head which was enough to make me wince in pain.
"Ugh," I hissed as Ellis stood me up from our position earlier.
"Are you fine?" he asked while I narrow my eyes and hold the back of my head.
"I'm fine—oh, ouch!" I grunted in pain.
Ellis put his hand over my forehead and said, "No, you're not. You're burning!" he implied.
He walked me over to the couch and sat me down. I suddenly felt very weak compared to what I was feeling earlier. I sneezed and sniffed over and over. I think I caught a cold.
"You caught a cold. That's probably because of the rain earlier. You haven't changed your clothes either." He said worriedly.
I laid myself on the couch and held on the cushion. I was already feeling cold.
"Do you have a flashlight around here?" he asked looking around. I nodded and pointed towards the counter. I left it the other day after finding for my earrings.
Ellis immediately grabbed the flashlight and rummaged through my cabinet but stopped in the middle of it turning to me, "Do you mind if I look for medicine here?"
"No. Yeah, sure." I coughed weakly. "Oh, wait. I ran out of medicine the other day." I sighed, great Cassy, great.
"And I can't go out to buy any because the rain is getting worse." He worried. "Do you have any towelette here I can borrow?"
"I have, it's inside the bathroom there inside the cabinet."
"Where's your bathroom?" he asked dumbfoundedly,
"You can go to the bathroom inside my room upstairs. When you go upstairs, it's the second door to the left. The one with a yellow tag by the doorknob." I instructed him.
He rushed upstairs to get one. Minutes passed and I was still waiting for him. Moments went as I felt myself drift away to sleep.
This place looked nothing near to familiar for me. Where am I? I looked around to scan the location but it wasn't really familiar to me. I slowly walked around to scan the location but it wasn't really familiar to me.
I slowly walked around to try and find someone I know but their faces weren't visible to me. They were all blurred and their voices were inaudible.
"Cassidy West?" a figure came nearer to me.
He kept repeating my name as he went closer. I squinted my eyes in attempt to see his face but I was not able to recognize who the person was. My heartbeat began to rise when the man grabbed my arm. I tried running away from him but he resisted.
A ball went flying towards us and hit him right in the head. I was able to escape from him so I ran. Panting, I carried myself away from the scene. Once I got out of his sight, I noticed cameras flashing and I realized I was in a different place. I was in front of numerous press people pointing their cameras and microphones at me.
"Miss West, what can you say about the issue?" statements and the likes were bombarding me but the sound of cameras clicking resonated the most.
"Why are you retiring? Is it true that your book is undergoing copyright?" they were all growing nonsense to me but the last question made me lose my words.
