Chapter thirteen

Michael's pov

I hugged Ashton for a while, I felt like he needed it and in all honesty, it felt great hugging him, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed when he broke away from the hug, as clingy as that sounds yet I'm not sure why I was so attached to this guy. We sat down on one of the sofas and Calum and Luke had walked in straight after, sitting down on the other sofa "Ash..Mike..I should probably apologise for how I acted..I don't..I don't want to hurt anybody.." Calum said and glanced down at the ground "no sweat.. we all lost control a little but..we have each other, and so far..you three are the only people I trust here. Well..I trust someone else but that's irrelevant. What I'm saying is, we need to stick together" I said, hoping no one would pick up or question the fourth person that I trust, that was Tyler, I wasn't ready to tell them yet. "Don't worry about it mate..you were sticking up for yourself, it's okay" Ashton said "everyone okay? everything okay in here?" Luke asked concerned and glanced around everyone and the room, noticing the vase was missing, he looked confused yet decided not to mention it which was probably for the best for now. "We're.. it's fine..I think we all just need to chill. How about I treat us to a takeaway?" I offered "takeaway and movies?" Calum asked and looked at Luke, he looked back at him "takeaway and movies" he said with a smile.

And that's what we did, we had pizza and watched Dream Boy, which I admit briefly made me start questioning my sexuality for the first time in my life, but hey they didn't need to know that just yet, I knew I wouldn't be judged, Calum and Luke are gay and Ashton is bi, even if they weren't I know they wouldn't judge me. "Wow, I can't believe I've never seen this movie.." I said and looked to the others, Ashton looked like he was going to fall asleep any second and Calum had already fallen asleep "urgh it's such a great film! swear I've seen it like 20 times" Luke said, I looked at the sleeping Calum and chuckled "think he needs carrying to bed? he looks so peaceful" I said, yes I know father figure alert. Luke looked at him with a fond smile "I reckon we should all just crash here to be honest, it's well comfy" "let's go for it! I'll go get the blankets from our room!" I said and jogged off to get the blankets before soon returning. Ashton slung himself up and turned the light off and got comfy again on the sofa, me being me, I tucked everyone in and the thought of cuddling Ashton did cross my mind but I decided against it, he'd probably think I was being creepy if I did that. We all soon fell asleep, I woke up in the middle of the night noticing that I had in fact ended up cuddling Ashton, he made a great little spoon, he was still in a deep slumber and it just felt so right, so I fell back asleep keeping my arm wrapped around his body.

I woke up the next morning mumbling to myself, seeing that I still had my arm around Ashton, he was still asleep so I assume he didn't realise all night, I quickly took my arm away yet making sure not to wake him up, a part of me, okay a big part of me wanted to keep myself in close contact with him..wait, why am I thinking this? I'm straight. I looked over to Calum and Luke, Calum was still asleep as well but Luke was already looking at me, ah fuck he must have noticed me spooning Ash. He gave me a little smirk and yawned "morning Mike" I stretched my arms "morning mate" I said and yawned as well "wow this lounge is comfier than I thought!" I admitted, Calum started mumbling in his sleep, Luke looked down at Calum and chuckled before looking back at me "yeah it is, did you sleep well?" I couldn't help but look down at Ashton, he did look really cute "yeah like a log, you?" "me too! slept like a baby" the talking must have woke Calum up since he started to slowly open his eyes "morning Cal" Luke said and gave him a smile "morning" Calum said and yawned, I looked back down at Ashton, it was hard to keep my gaze away from him, whoops? "wow he's still out of it, I think he needed this rest" I said and looked around the room briefly to not look weird or suspicious yet no sure why I cared so much if they noticed. "Pffft, I don't blame him. Last night..what a day, that's all I can say" Luke said with a chuckle. "Yeah it was rather eventful.. should we do something?" I asked, I didn't want anyone to dwell on last night too much. "Like what?" Calum mumbled and sat up, Ashton had started to wake up and went to the bathroom, I guess his bladder woke him up and he soon returned, walking into the kitchen "ooh, what if we go down to that leisure room, they have a café, snooker, all that good stuff" Luke recommended "they do? sounds great!" I said with a smile and walked into the kitchen to see that Ashton was making a coffee for everyone, he's so sweet.

I stared at him for a second, watching him making it in a sluggish manner "need any help mate?" I asked him, walking over towards him. He passed me one of the coffees "nah I'm good" he said and gave me a small cute tired smile "thanks" I said and smiled back, taking a sip of the coffee. Ashton walked off back into the lounge, giving the other two their coffee I assume and walked back into the kitchen, taking a sip of his coffee as well. "You sleep well?" I asked, wondering if he would mention me cuddling him, I hope he didn't notice"Yeah, I was so out of it, you?" phew "tell me about it.." I said and started playing with my hair, not really sure why "you up for going to the leisure centre today?" I asked, hoping he would say yes "we have a leisure centre?" "yeah! snooker.. vending machines, air hockey! even arcades! what more could we want?" I said and giggled "yeah sure" he replied.We all finished our coffee not long after and got ready, I was looking forward to spending more time with the boys, especially Ashton.
