Calum's pov

Pft..what a fucking night, how am I meant to face Luke after last night? I'm so embarrassed, I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to talk to me again. I sighed and went back into the bedroom, seeing that Ashton was still asleep, which I'm not surprised at to be honest, good luck to him when he wakes up, that hangover is going to be intense. I went into the bathroom and had a shower, and sang some of my favourite songs, it helped calm me down, I was going to see Tyler later on today and I don't think I was ready, I had a lot to get off my chest. I eventually got out the shower and dried myself off, changing into the clothes that I picked out for today and walked back into the bedroom.

I looked at Ashton to see that he had started waking up, well barely, he looked hungover as hell "oh hi" I said, I wasn't singing that loud so I wondered what woke him up so early "alright?" he mumbled, he had a pillow over his face, the daylight getting too much for his throbbing head probably "you have a good night? it seems it" I asked and laughed, it was a funny sight "pfffft yeah" he said and took the pillow away from his face and slowly sitting up "did you have a good time with Luke?" he asked and looked at me "yeah we managed to get a fair bit done to be fair" I said and finished getting changed by putting my socks on, I wanted to tell Ashton about last night but a different time would be better, my head was all over the place and I don't think it would be fair to load all this on Ashton in his hungover state "really? that's good..you got erm, clean sheets now?" he asked while looking curious, I know he didn't buy my lie but I decided to keep to it for now, if I told anyone about my wet dream about Luke, I don't think I would ever hear the end of it "oh yeah I sorted it, damn water spillage! I need to stop drinking it at night" Ashton raised an eyebrow "uh huh.." he said, he definitely didn't believe my attempt of a lie "what? what?!" I accidentally yelled, I didn't intend for it to come out like an outburst "are you sure you didn't just..get excited after hanging out with Luke?" ah shit " what?pffffft no. I told you I'm innocent, that kind of stuff doesn't happen to me like it does with everyone else" I said, starting to feel shy and embarrassed even more "Calum this type of thing happens to everyone, it's not something to be embarrassed about if it did happen. You know I'm not going to judge you" "well sorry to disappoint you but that's not what happened." I replied, admittedly I felt bad not being honest with Ash, he was being nice and only trying to help but it was a habit I had of pushing people away sometimes. Ashton sighed and got up "alright if you say so" I started to put my clean bedding on "what you doing today?" I asked him "oh you know.. just stuff. Probably go to the gym..and that type of stuff..you?" "probably catch up on coursewo- wait what? the gym? hungover?" I asked baffled, not in a rude way but he didn't look in the right state to be going to the gym, he needed to just chill out and look after himself "yeah? can't skip leg day" "right.. whatever you want to do I guess, it's your day off" I said skeptical of his idea. He didn't reply yet got ready in his sluggish manner "what time you going?" I asked once he had come back after getting ready in the bathroom and got my books out, I hope he didn't think I was being annoying, I just wanted to keep talking with him, he groaned in a hungover state, probably with dread of the thought of going to the gym hungover, then why doesn't he just not go? it's his life I guess..I can't force him to do anything "probably now, get it out the way. What you gonna do today?" "just coursework..ahah I know I'm boring but I just want to do well. I might grab some food first" "nah it's not boring, it's responsible. I haven't even touched mine yet" Ashton said while putting his shoes on "need any help?" I asked him with a concerned look, he gave a shrug "I'm not sure, haven't looked at it yet, not gonna lie" "why? not even once?" "nah.. I'll do it later. Anyway, better get going. Bye cal" he said, brushing off my concern and left to go the gym "okay see you" I said and smiled even though he had already left but I hope he heard me at least. I opened my books and started to crack on with my work.
