Stepping outside, you were greeted by not only the rain but with the taxi cab that was parked a few feet ahead of you. Taylor had called you one as you prepared yourself for the special day ahead.

What made it so special? Today was the day you and Taylor were to be married, for the two of you to seal the deal until death do you apart.

Once inside the taxi, you shut your door and put your seatbelt on while texting Taylor you were headed over to the venue. You were already dressed in your gown and had your makeup done with everything else. Even the ring Taylor had proposed to you with was slipped onto your right ring finger. As you had settled in, you had given the directions to your driver while you had decided to just go ahead and call Taylor to let her know. The feelings you were feeling were a mix of excitment and nervousness as you had never pictured that this day in your life would ever come to be. But it did, and you were beating excited and happy as can be; getting married to your dream girl. On the way over, the rain was getting worse than any better until it eventually was beginning to turn into hail. The dark storm clouds were making it nearly impossible to see the road ahead of you and if you were being honest, you were a bit scared of what might happen. But against all odds, you trusted the driver enough to get you there safely and when you saw the distress look on his face, mainly from worry, you were definitely going to give him a big tip for his trouble as he was doing everything in his power to get you there.

As you were about two blocks away from the venue where friends and family waited for the ceremony to begin, you weren't prepared for the slick roads ahead as the driver lost control and couldn't stop from crashing into the oncoming car not far ahead.

The crash was loud enough that it could be heard at the venue and of course, Taylor was immediately worried of who might be involved or/and badly hurt. Everyone there had gotten word out to them that it was you and your driver, and tried to hold Taylor back as she fought through to get to you, only to be met with the scene ahead of her. Since she couldn't make her way to you, she had someone take her to the hospital she knew you'd be taken to for treatments. Thoughts were going through her mind as she though what could have happened to you. Even the worst case scenario came through to her and that was when she could no longer hold back any longer as she let the tears slip from her eyes and broke down crying. If something bad happened to you, she knew she'd never find love again.

Once they had reached to the hospital, Taylor wasted no time in running in, frantically searching for you. When she was spotted by a nurse and was asked if she was in need of assistance, she heard the sound of your croaked voice telling the staff helping you that it was your wedding day and you needed to get back to the chapel to where Taylor was waiting for you. Right as you were going to reject their orders to calm down for them to help you, you felt a warm hand clasped yours and you immediately knew who it was.

"Taylor?" You look over to see her smiling down at you sadly.

It hit you hard when you realized the cuts and bruises you had received from the accident and you couldn't help but let a few tears slip as you noticed her looking you over with a sad look. You spoke up before anyone else could and what you said next, broke Taylor's heart into tiny pieces like shattered glass.

"You probably don't want to marry me now after seeing me like this." You say sadly, trying to avoid Taylor's gaze.

You felt her hand squeeze yours reassuringly before saying anymore.

"That's not true, Y/n. I love you no matter what, on my way here, I thought that if something were to happen to you, I'd never find this love again." That was when Taylor hatched an idea she knew you couldn't say no to.

"Why don't we just get married here? Right now?" She asked you, and her suggestion took you by complete surprise. But you weren't going to turn down her suggestion.

"I'd love that so much, Taylor. But are you sure you want to marry me while I'm wearing only a hospital gown that doesn't tie up all the way in the back?" You ask, Taylor lets out a small laugh.

"I've never been so sure about anything else in my life, Y/n."
