Tonight was a special night for you, as you were finally getting the chance to go see Taylor Swift live for the first time.
You had been a fan for as long as you can remember; from that day on since you heard 'Tim McGraw' for the first time when it was released. Just as you were beginning to think your chance to see her would never come to life, or once you had thought she was giving up her music career, Reputation was released and you wasted no time in getting yourself a copy of it. After listening to it, it was an incredible masterpiece immediately had become your favorite album, and you knew you had to get your hands on tickets because you never knew when or if there's going to be a final tour from her or final album.
Whether by luck or fate, you managed to get your hands on tickets, and good seats too; second row center. You would be close to Taylor and the stage and that thought got you excited. You drove yourself to the arena and waited for the show to begin with everyone there once you found your spot. It was a night to remember always, you thought she sounded good on the album record, her voice sounds even better live. A few songs go by, than another few songs following ahead, it was all just so beautiful.
Taylor than announces she would be performing a song from her Red album and when she started, you recognized the tune of 'All Too Well' You along with everyone else, knew every word and had started to sing along with her to it. Before you knew it, the song had come to a close and the crowd erupted in cheers as you did the same. You watch as Taylor looks around at the her audience in the arena, smiling. It was than she made direct eye contact with you and as you both exchanged smiles, you felt something hit your exposed collar bone. Bending down, you picked it up and after examining what it was, you realized it was Taylor's guitar pick.
She had given you her guitar pick! She had given you her guitar pick!! The though was running through your mind as you were staring down at it resting on the palm of your hand and your other hand covering your mouth from the excitement and joy.
This was something you'd always hold onto as a treasure, a treasured feeling physically and a treasured feeling with true meaning for your heart.
